Message 1828223 - Posted: 3 Nov 2016, 22:54:37 UTC - in response to Message 1828182.

Please tell me what to do and how to do it from cradle to grave, workplace to bedroom, and make everything a 100% guarantee.

Reversing the Citizens United decision would be a first step.

Yes it would, and as political speech frequently is slanderous a corporation that engages in political speech should lose its limitation on liability, so any liability for slander falls upon the owners after the corporation is bankrupt.

This because these committee corporations get donations and print their slander flyer two days before the election and use every penny so there is nothing left to sue. Change it so there is someone to sue.

I see the British SCOTUK

W.T.F is that ??? Don't exist over here , try High court and that ain't the highest court in this country !!!

It doesn't?. Looks like it's been around since 2005.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

Who caused the mess (you describe) we are in?

Dubya probably.

Nahh... not Bush the Younger... goes back a LOT further.

Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016.

I'd say even further back, the Father of Rational Anarchy, a genius and you might say 'Progressive' in many ways. Principal author of the Declaration of Independence.

The first President to declare war and authorize Naval and Marine military action in foreign waters and on foreign soil.

Thank you to the USA for taking up that baton, are you going to keep hold of it, if not who will take it up.

Back to the Donald, details of his lying about his financial worth turn up in Florida.

On the financial disclosure forms that Donald J. Trump has pointed to as proof of his tremendous success, no venture looks more gold-plated than his golf resort in Doral, Fla., where he reported revenues of $50 million in 2014. That figure accounted for the biggest share of what he described as his income for the year.

But this summer, a considerably different picture emerged in an austere government hearing room in Miami, where Mr. Trump’s company was challenging the resort’s property tax bill.

Mr. Trump’s lawyer handed the magistrate an income and expense statement showing that the gross revenue had indeed been $50 million. But after paying operating costs, the resort had actually lost $2.4 million.

Are you selling something?
Your "link" wants me to log into the New York Times.
Or are you just collecting data for your e-posting enterprise?
Pretty certain I would rather just blindfold myself and walk into a burning building.
What's next? Perhaps a subscription to the unbiased Huffington Post?

Of coarse he um, (stretches truth) er, lies and then lies about the truth. What is new? He has been trained by the most evil of lawyers this nation has ever known. The answer he gives depends on what he wants you to hear and who is doing the asking.
Oh yeah ... just like the politicians do; and other trained lawyers like Hillary Clinton.
Lie and then lie about telling the lies. So what's your point?
Or is this just more of the same?

This election is not about Trump. It's never been about Trump.

Absolutely agree, it's about what the Constitution and SCOTUS will look like in 50 years.
It's about a choice whether to become a Government automaton with all the freedom and choice the Government allows or to be free to choose our future paths without Government instruction.

Or simply: The Constitution or Mao's 'Little Red Book'.

Read the quote on the posted image of Thomas Jefferson. He saw this coming 240 years ago.

Even Big '0' Hussein smells of fear. His eyes bulge out as he compares the Trump campaign to the KKK. Real fear, enough to play the race card(as he always does to incite his acolytes, sometimes to violence).

Could it be that you've hit the NYT paywall? There are guides to working around it. Alternatively, you could wait until Monday ...

I thought you were the one that wanted logic and reason, if so, then why the false equivalency about lies told by the two leading candidates? If you want to hear one candidate say one thing to one audience and the opposite to another, try this:

Booby has given link to get round the paysite blocking, the easiest is use another browser and or a different device.
I don't do HuffPost because it is an "intelligent" site and always puts me on the UK site unless I receive a specific link.

Trump does not stretch the truth he Lies. Or else he is so unintelligent he cannot read a tax summary, or a paper, such as the one he said he read about African/American total unemployment where he said (from memory) it is 27%. That figure only applies to poor urban area's. The true facts are that in suburban and rural area's it is not very different from any other racial group.

Nobody of reasonable intelligence mixes up Gross Income with the profit/loss figure.

From that link I gave, Trump claims for 40 Wall Street,
“I make approximately $20 million a year in rentals from 40 Wall Street and the building is now worth $500 million,”

But the income and expense statement that he filed with the New York City Tax Commission to appeal his property taxes shows that after mortgage payments and other costs, the building produced a cash flow of about $104,000 in 2014. Over the previous three years, it had generated a negative cash flow of $5.5 million, as the fallout of the 2008 financial crisis took a toll on downtown office buildings.

Edit] On Trump lies, in the Washington Post which awards Pinocchios in the range 1 to 4, Trumps average is 3.4, Clinton's is 2.2, that's about the same as Romney in 2012.
The worst in 2012 was Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota — an average of 3.08 Pinocchios.

Of course it is not about Trump, it's just like Brexit, it's anti-establishment.

But just like Brexit, which a lot of analyists say, if repeated it would be a win for stay.

And if Trump wins I predict that in the not too distant future the vast majority will want him out of the White House ASAP, assuming congress lets him go with his promises.

Please explain how putting Trump in the White House will protect the Constitution or SCOTUS

What is the only way the United States Constitution can be changed?
The only way to actually CHANGE it is via a constitutional amendment. Congress or the states can initiate that, and the amendment has to be ratified by a fixed number of states before it takes effect. We've got 27 amendments, the most recent as of 1992

I see nothing that say's the President can change it.

The same may be true of WaPo's pinocchios.

I did NOT intend to say that they were lying about the same things. I also did not mean that they lie in equal amounts.
What "equivalency" I did intend was first put in bold type so it would be obvious.
Lawyers are trained to lie. Trump was groomed by a snake-of-a-lawyer and Clinton IS a lawyer by education and original profession.
Is it any wonder that a disproportional number of politicians are lawyers.
Sorry if that was unclear.

WinterKnight...

Just as the 'Expert' Analyst's predicted the first time?

This Non-Expert, 'On The Ground' Analyst, has been predicting a Trump Victory.

Brexit? You may also be shocked if there is another referendum.

Time will tell.

Have a google to see what google said were the most googled items the day after the result was announced.
It was quite clear a lot of people did not know what the EU is or how it would affect them.

Brexit is a shock. Not only to Britain.
Trump is a shock. Not only to the US.
http://time.com/4554738/donald-trump-brexit-ashcroft/
Nevertheless, it is clear that Trump and Brexit have much in common—and that the phenomenon is not confined to our two countries. The forces that took Britain out of the EU and put the GOP nominee at the top of his ticket—all connected in some way to questions of identity and who has won and lost from globalization—are going to make themselves felt in next year’s elections in Germany, France and elsewhere, with consequences for the future of Europe and the international order that we cannot know. Whatever the result next Tuesday, Brexit and Trump are the opening chapters in a story whose denouement we have yet to see.

Meanwhile, one final lesson from the British experience: you don’t know the result until the votes are counted.

Are you sure about this? Would seem to be odd to be trained to do something for which you could lose your job:
