The results by county. Gives you a better feel for where the concentrations are at. Yep. I'm a blue county in a sea of red. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

I'd like to see what it would look like with gerrymandering removed. That would be even more telling. ... |

Those who should be dining on Crow today never seem to learn. 1st it was 'Trump will never be elected', now it's 'he can't be a good President'. Give me a break! Do you ideologues EVER admit you're wrong ? About everything. Sniffle, whine, cry, it's over. Trump is President, DEAL WITH IT! As B. Hussein Obama famously said after the last go round to Republicans, "Elections have repercussions'. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

Since the states elect on a statewide basis, I don't think gerrymandering applies. |

Lance Corporal "Jonesy" Jones said it better :-) "They don't like it up 'em" |

TBH Trump doesn't scare me that much. All bark and not a lotta bite. But Rudy Giuliani? Chris Christie? Newt Gingrich? Shall I go on? Mr. kittyman, I've asked you this before and I'll ask you again: You sure you want these scaredy-cats in charge when we find "the signal"? They'd pee their pants and promptly run around like headless chickens ;) |

I doubt that Trump will attempt to prosecute Hillary for any wrongdoings. She's no political threat any longer. If her health is failing as reported, the blow dealt by the election defeat will most likely kill her. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |

I doubt that Trump will attempt to prosecute Hillary for any wrongdoings. She's no political threat any longer. If her health is failing as reported, the blow dealt by the election defeat will most likely kill her. Well, in a fair and impartial system of Rule-of-Law, she should be charged with the offenses, and let a Jury determine her guilt or innocence in a Trial. There is way more than enough evidence to support at least the possibility she broke the law. But, we don't have a fair and impartial system of Rule-of-Law. A lot of the governing elites (of ALL political parties) seem to get special treatment. Rule-of-law = "If you have done the crime, you DO the time... no matter who you are". https://youtu.be/iY57ErBkFFE #Texit Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016. Truth is dangerous... especially when it challenges those in power. |

@ CLYDE & Alex: The truly sad thing is, Trump is not the anti-establishment the electorate think he is. He may not be a career politician, but he's part of the elite ruling class that's rubbed elbows with politicians all his life. He's even bragged about buying off politicians. He's always been one of them. +1. "It's the Main Street Economy, stupid!" I am trying to figure out if Trump's first act won't be economic, but instead something along the lines of: 1) Reinstating "Don't Ask, Don't Tell". 2) Getting creationism taught in schools. Something like that. Something that would make about 40% of his supporters, and 20% of the country, happy, but will be Establishment and having nothing to do with the "valid fears of the American people". The Establishment and their lapdogs genuflect at the Altar of Power. As this was pasted with my quote, I assume the implied threat is against me.... "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

Dictators and authoritarian leaders around the world, both on the extreme right- and left, are euphoric after Donald Trump's victory. Trump's victory also pleases his ideologically like-minded in what the author Anne Applebaum has been dubbed the "Populist International"; xenophobic nationalists united by admiration for a strong leader, and they often have deep ties to Russia today. And now their "man" Donald Trump in the forefront of the world's only superpower. He also becomes informal leader of the Populist International. |
