Yesterday's batch has now been returned, so I'll wait and see if another batch of files get thrown at the splitters today.

Cheers.

Only comment I wish to make at this point is that unfortunately for us in Europe, very often the splitting of AP WUs begins when it is night for us.
So it is difficult to implement any optimisation procedure to get a higher share of APs.

Anyway, I can live with it and I continue to sleep well, but I wanted to write this comment since long and for some reason I did it today.
It is not a pledge. If they schedule it this way, there is a good reason and there is no reason to change, or even to just think to change.

So lucky you in USA and Australia, think about how fortunate you are to live in the right time zone! :-)

No implementation of any type of optimisation procedure to get a higher share of AP's is used here, it's all just luck of the draw at this end. ;-)

They are so few and far between it's, as Wiggo says very much luck of the draw - if your cruncher calls for work, and you are allowing APs to be processed and there is an AP at the top of the pile you are in luck, otherwise none will be sent.

For two of my systems that only use their iGPU to run AP tasks the rate that AP work gets generated is more than enough for them to keep their 10+10 cache filled.
Which is ~24 task on one system and ~80 on the other.
