If someone who works in IT is boring you with a tale, do a web search on your phone for an image of a printer and show it them.

It'll work like kryptonite on Superman.

Don't try that at home.
Dynamite are not used any more because it's not stable.
Now Dynamex is used and it's more safe and is a plastic explosive that needs a detonator to ignate.
However if you put it in fire it will only burn intensly.

The bears will probably run away unless you start to cook some food on the fire...

When I was younger and I could run, a friend and I set off an M80 in a gopher hole, We got halfway down the block, after rounding a corner before the M80(1/4 stick of dynamite We were told) went off, that's what an M80 is supposed to be the equivalent to, but this was decades ago, We were kids. Nothing came of that of course and We didn't repeat that, We were just curious and We knew what could go wrong and it wouldn't have been pretty either, just bloody awful and I do mean 'bloody', since an M80 can be dangerous. I don't know what became of the gopher hole, but then We didn't take a look, we just ran like heck after lighting that fuse.

A local limestone quarry owner always has a big 4th of July celebration. Included in the list of admittedly redneck, beer induced activities is the baseball launcher. A 2 inch diameter iron pipe driven two feet into the ground on one side of the lake. Approximately 150 yards away, on the other side of the lake, those participating as "catchers" don their baseball mitts and wait for an M80 or something homemade but equally potent (rock quarries gots dynamite!) to be lit, dropped down the pipe, and a baseball quickly balanced over the open end of the pipe. Usually takes a couple practice shots to get the angle/range right. From there it's all fun & games until somebody gets a hand blown off, which fortunately hasn't happened in the years I've attended that wonderful event.

Hopefully it was this M80.

Putting them in a pipe are VERY dangerous.
My father was a mine expert and he went ballistic when I told him that I put those firecrackers into my bicycle handles.

If you use M80 dynamite then it's called a pipe bomb that terrorists use!
Even the ignator is enough to blow up a steel pipe!
Been there. Done that.

There are n sweets in a bag.
6 of the sweets are orange.
The rest of the sweets are yellow.

Hannah takes at random a sweet from the bag.
She eats the sweet.

Hannah then takes at random another sweet from the bag.
She eats the sweet.

The probability that Hannah eats two orange sweets is 1/3

The Beauty of Gray Hair (Gray and Proud) :)

Love it!!! Thank you!!!

I don't have a Facebook Account, but I think that I just might create one when I have some time, just to join the Gray and Proud group!!!

:-)

For nearly 2 weeks I appeared in court with the biggest mop of gray & white hair & got funny looks...

...Thursday as we knew the trial was coming to an end, decided to "clean up" (the court security failed to recognise me).

Nice short, back & sides, suited & booted, even the BBC reporter started hitting on me (as well as a few others) :-)

Don't women like "mature gray haired men" then? tut tut tut, all that "experience" going to waste :-(

That sounds like the Family Fortunes Programme over here some of the questions are shall we say daft.
I don't know where this goes, but I hope it goes viral.

I was eating lunch in front of the tv today and I happened across what I can only assume is "The 24 Hour A Day Family Feud Channel."

One hundred people surveyed, top seven answers on the board...

Name something about a woman that might cause a man not to recognize his high school sweetheart at their 25 year class reunion.

The contestant said, and I quote, "She done got ugly". When the contestant said that, the judges allowed the #2 answer to be flipped over. The number two answer was "she has gray hair".

As far as I'm concerned, "she done got ugly" and "she has gray hair" are NOT in any way, shape or form equivalent!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How incredibly infuriating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How incredibly insulting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Family Feud owes every one of us proud gray women an apology.

#The Family Feud is dead to me now

Old enough to know better(but)still young enough not to care

I don't think The Family Feud is
the problem here. I asked LSM about
it, and she says self-image problems
come from the mind of the individual.
Not surprising in a culture that tells
us that we all should look like we are
in our twenties for ever. Some times it
is hard to get through all the idiocy
going on in the world, but you gotta'.

edit:
I know that LSM looks better now too me
than she did even on the day we got married!
