This is what Terminal told me when I tried to run boinc.

What version of OS are you using? The default client will only run on OS 10.3.x (Panther) or later.

If you are running 10.2.x (Jaguar) you can try the re-compiled version located at

http://homepage.mac.com/brdavid/FileSharing31.html

It might work. NOTE: You may need to "Control click" on the download link and specifiy a download location.

Have you tried renaming the file as simply boinc and then chmod it then type ' ./boinc '
