I believe with certainty that there is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. Looking for it is a worthwhile pursuit because being able to establish the existance of life elsewhere, beyond a reasonable doubt, will go a long way towards establishing the desire of humanity to unite together in peace. When we know that there is more then just us (Terran humanity), then I hope that we can begin to work together, instead of against each other.
No matter what we find, whatever we discover along the way will enrich us. |
