Although not some people I have met upon the way.

But, if you keep kicking daylight for long enough, eventually daylight comes through.

I have manic depressive disorder, disleksik, survivor disorder, SAD, and the belief that somehow, I have never been good enough for the rest of you.

And with that in tow, I have attempted to achieve something you never could.
It did not happen today, or tomorrow, or yesterday.
But I have almost achieved something none of may never.
Self respect.

I can just remember it now. Yes, I jam it, but I just don't get as whacked as some think I do anymore.,

I piss about this and that, but that is my nature now.
I have life by the tits, and am just starting to realize that.
Ballz be mine, and I know it now.
Got a kitty passing, and I can now deal with that as well.................
Hard, but not unliveable. I can get by that too.

Yes, friends, I am more sober than a year ago, and things are clearer now.
Things I did and said. Well, been there and done that bit.

Didn't drive my '90 Olds for a couple of years...fine car.

Managed to avoid the joint..............was there 40 years ago, never again.


Now...tell me about how YOUR life has been better than mine for the last 365 days.

Like yourself, I lost a lot to things I can never recover.
Life, love, and things intagable,.
These are things that can never be retrieved, but I can deal with that going on.

I have a few years left.....not sure how many, but, who of us does...........and I can deal within that timeframe with what I must.

But, today is a better day, eh?
