Yasi is most amazing...yet she seems to be looking over at Vai constantly for reassurance.

I don't think she needs it.

Thank you for that amazing link.

Edward Grieg? He's from Norway:)

I knew that, I'm just pulling your chain.......I've always enjoyed orchestral music and Edvard's use of brass and woodwinds in the entire Peer Ghent symphony is superb. It's reminiscent of Moussorgsky (Night on Bald Mountain)......https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCEDfZgDPS8

Now the original "In the Hall of the Mountain King........https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRpzxKsSEZg

Very nice landscape.
Former East Germany and Trabant cars:)
I can almost smell it.
At the end of production in 1989, the Trabant delivered 19 kW (26 horsepower) from a 600 cc (37 cu in) displacement. It took 21 seconds to accelerate from 100 km/h (60 mph) and had a top speed of 100 km/h (62 mph).
No wonder you want to go to Texas.

Montana has a very nice landscape. So here is a song about Montana.

Swedish landscape.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hxp9U7TTAk

The ocean, never as shimmering,
The beaches, never as unending,
The fields meadows and trees, never as lovely,
The flowers, never with such rich perfume,

As when you walked with me,
Towards the sunset, in our evening,
When your soul sheltered me from the world,
And you drowned all my fears and sorrows,
Beloved
With your
Very first kiss.

Sorry, not watching this one.

But is Brittany perhaps somewhat or someone else than Britney.

Is getting of age perhaps an excuse?

Heck, try the subway instead and become an adult, not grown up on neither discipline nor drugs.

Pics, pics, pixels...

All in the details, of course.

Mark this one's for you....
Unstoppable Force from Dimetrodon by The Doubleclicks

Part of the Lyrics:
I'm a train traveling at 2a + x
Got a cargo of nothing except my effects
my track isn't laid yet, my plan is still blurry
but I'm moving too fast to remember to worry

you're a train at point y and you have been for years
held in one spot by your justified fears
you have some wisdom, trajectory notes
But I don't recall ever seeking your vote, no

You are not my source
I am not your project
cause I'm an unstoppable force
and you're an immovable object
I'm an unstoppable force
and you're an immovable object

Full lyrics to the song are available with the song link above.

About the group:
The Doubleclicks are a pair of Portland-based sisters who sing about Dungeons and Dragons, Mr. Darcy, and Dinosaurs.
The Doubleclicks' clever brand of nerdy folk music has been called "relentlessly likable" and "face-meltingly wry."
Their fans tend to be software developers, writers and their loved ones, as well as anyone who loves Star Trek, grammar, dinosaurs or video games.

Dust off the boombox, cassettes are having a comeback!!!

basically:

  • In digital age, ’80s-style cassette tapes have a following
  • They’re cheaper, more portable and have a nostalgic appeal for bands, buyers
  • Vinyl records still rule old-school music formats
