And takes me near and very far at times, even totally sober, kids.
It really does.

I was never heavily into drugs, but I get flashbacks to musical images and times that overtake me and make me take pause in the middle of the day whilst drinking a.....diet Pepsi.

Here is another one I know well.....Pinball Wizard.

Played for me about a thousand times in the tavvy years ago.
Because I WAS a pinball wizard. Mostly not because of sheer skill, but because I would go into the tavern for a beer or two, and waltz out many hours later with eyes glazed not so much from the beer or whiskey, but from the hours I had spent taking top score on the Bally machine.

I miss those days.

Another whack for a buddy of mine back in Milwaukee, near Waukesha, Les Paul's home town.
Many have taken inspiration from Les.
No less than this dude from MY world.

Give a hand to this guy. He has been a wizard from years back, he is still posting some wonderful stuff.
He was the advertising man for Fender for years, and displayed all of their new advances and pickups and some most beautiful instruments.

I saw him many times live down at the Summerfest grounds in Milwaukee, sometimes quaffing a brew with him and discussing other wannabes.

He is the most amazing techniquest that exists in my estimation.
Nobody else can do these thingys.

I only post these things because he is so good and yet has not achieved national distribution and recognition.

He should. If you ever tried to play a geeeetar, this should astound you.

What you may not know, or appreciate, is that I sit here...in a little home in a town in Wisconsin called Menasha.

I have lived here all of my life.
I picked up on this project about 10 years ago or so.

This is now what I do.

I have about another 10 years and then it's all I can do.

We shall certianly not get the answer we all wish for by then.

I am happy that I have contributed as much as I have by the end date.
