Hehehe have you lot quite finished? We call them ramps because that's what they are, not what they do. Methinks a good dose of chill pills all round would be rather useful. After you, sir. Look at the thread title guys. Example: When anyone other than the landlord says "OK, it's time to leave the pub." The defence rests your honour :) Member of the People Encouraging Niceness In Society club. |

True, oh so true...... (You know, you are not the only one to say that. Other people have come to me with the same comment.) |

I agree with a few other posters here that, whilst I do possess a certain modicum of patience, I run totally out of it whilst driving amongst idiots. Merging at half highway speed and sitting and staring at left turn arrows are among my most irritating, but by no means the only examples. Well I can have a temper, but I think I am mostly a patient person. One thing I hate are stupid drivers. Today on my way home, three cars ran a red light. Yes it is a big street, so they may have just made it, when it turned yellow, just not in time when it hit green for us. Same idiots wait up to the last minute to merge. I agree with a few other posters here that, whilst I do possess a certain modicum of patience, I run totally out of it whilst driving amongst idiots. I was at a left turn arrow today. And I was behind a snail human hybrid. I swear this guy was just ideling around the corner. And then he was doing 20 MPH in 40 MPH zone. So now ive encounterd the Turtle hybid and Snail hybid humans behind the wheel. IM actually afraid of what next hybrid I might encounter. [/quote] Old James |

I could post a rant about that here too. Only one in my neck of the woods here in Stockton, sure were a Pita in Germany in 2004. I am sure fellow German drivers can pipe in. It's not the cars that piss me off at times, it is the DRIVERS that drive like a Prius. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

7 It's not the cars that piss me off at times, it is the DRIVERS that drive like a Prius. Detroit went way back into the shithole back around '79, and since then has only created crap cars. There is some hope that they have finally come to their senses........but the only thing that gets publicity these days in some silly ass high horsepower hijinx that the average man cannot afford to buy. I mean, like, a 1000 hp Camaro. Fine, build me a 350hp version that the average Joe could afford. They are missing the point totally at times, and the Japs are taking full advantage of that fact. Lori's stock box 'truck'... Her box. Her boxtop little truck. Her dang stock box Jap truck is NOT a bad vehicle. A Nissan Rouge...ugly as sin, but a great grocery getter. It sux, but it works. I wish somebody would kill Top gear and Jeremy Clarkson. If you don't like it then don't watch it. If you don't watch it then what's the problem? Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. |

I wish somebody would kill Top gear and Jeremy Clarkson. Not going to happen. The BBC pulled in ~£150 Million in 2012 for sales and rights for Top Gear, worldwide. |

Top Gear is becoming a motor-based version of Last of the Summer Wine, and that ran for 37 years. Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. |
