Hi, I have SETI@Home running on 3 PC's all O.K Out of curiosity I put it on my Google Nexus(2013) Tablet, and I'm getting errors. Only 2 validated from 64. Any ideas.? I have reduced CPU's to 2, and memory to use only 50%, no change I guess I need to remove it. Thanks... Dave - First Reg: Sept 28th 2003 - Re-Started: Dec 6th 2014 + SETI@Home Classic WU's = 6729 |

When checking the task details on your errors, they all say process got signal 11 which is a segmentation error, which means that something is broken. Most likely (part of) the memory on that device. The memory on it may be perfectly fine for (simple) surfing, but not be up to it to be under duress like it will be when Seti crunches on it. Not much you can do about that on a tablet. On a PC we would recommend to test the memory and if need be replace it. Now it's probably better to pick your losses and not run BOINC on it. |

No. It will eventually fall off the visible list, hiding under the 30 days and older computers list. But if you want rid of it, just wait until its task list is completely empty. Then you can delete the ID through the details page of that host. Any credit it may have gathered stays with you. |
