Beer o`clock in 20 minutes.

I have to admite Mike you do get a jump on all of us when it comes to Beer O'clock. :)

Got a new case of 24 for the weekend, I need that much for my BD on Sunday alone. LOL

I've always thought it would be fun to buy an old vending machine and fill it with different beers. :~)

Might be a bit frothy :) Cheers :)

Do you remember the one I think it was Chris or someone in the UK posted about 6 months ago? it must have had about 500 different kinds of beer in it. a great big fridge.

Oh yeah, that's right - I forgot about that. :~) 5 or 6 would do for me. I would have a Beck's Dark, a St. Pauli Girl Dark, Corona, Dos Equis Amber, Guinness, and Negra Modelo.

And what about this dandelion wine? How does that work? Do you squeeze the flower?

Its like making beer. But it take time to pick all the flowers needed. And the flowers are only available during a few weeks per year.

I prefer beer though:)

Good Morning Grant, Julie, Gordon, Mike, Zappy AND JULIE!

I used to start my Sunday mornings(30 years ago) with a breakfast of Eggs, Bacon, Hash Browns, Toast and a George Killian's Ale brewed under license from Coors. One fine Sunday morning I sat down, took a bite and a sip and almost choked! Coors had decided to change the recipe from an Ale to a Lager.....GRRRRRRRRRR.

Made me so mad I didn't purchase another Coors product for many years.

I don't drink Coors at all D.G. I really dislike it, I stick with Siera Navada or Nankasi. I'll try almost anything but coors is on the back burner here.

Why do so many men make such pigs of themselves at breakfast??? A side of this and a side of that. No wonder the western world has obesity problems!

Many times I don't have one Chris, my big meal is dinner most of the time, I have to watch my GF because many times she doesn't eat so I check in on her to make sure she has. :( she can hardly walk anymore also.m She thinks a waffle is dinner?

Grant, I don't drink Coors at all, gives me a BLAZING headache..... I will drink two of their Craft Brewed products, Batch 19 and Winterfest are quite good. I try to avoid ALL mass brewed Beers by the Giants(InBev, Miller-Coors-Molson, etc.) and patronize the local small craft brewers.

There is a great Microbrewery 2 blocks from the huge Coors facility called Golden City Brewery, they proudly call themselves the 2nd largest brewery in Golden Colorado.

SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MICROBREWERY!

Yes! In Stockholm county Sweden we have 36(!) microbreweries.
But they have problem with the distribution because of the giants.

A microbrewery trend that began on the US West Coast in the 70s has finally begun to spread across our country. New microbreweries are emerging all the time and the demand for their handcrafted beers brewed just grows and grows. Suddenly, beer must not taste like diluted water to be classified as drinkable. Now it's completely different types of beer. Hops Stuffed India pale ales, chocolate smooth Imperial Stout and healthy wheat beer are some beers that are now in demand.

Cheers

The Giants are soulless pigs. When Inbev purchased Budweiser, I was the Corporate Credit Manager of the company that supplied soil mixes to the Budweiser experimental greenhouses in Ft Collins Colorado. Their(Inbev)international purchasing offices sent a letter to all Budweiser suppliers stating that all purchases would now be on terms of net 120 days(FOUR MONTHS!). As we were the only North American source for the soil mixes, I replied that it was unfortunate they had chosen to destroy relationships established for many years, and that all future sales to them must be paid for ON RECEIPT OF THE PRODUCT.

It was my minor victory to put the largest brewer in the world....on COD. They couldn't get it elsewhere so were forced to bring a demand check for every order..

:D )))

Well done DG.

If more suppliers would act like that would be great.
The cars in germany are driving down the road already before we get our money.
Anyways.
