Well, I haven't had any trouble with my Windows machines. In fact, I just changed the bedroom machine to run APs in XP with an ATI card late yesterday. It first downloaded a load of CPU tasks for the Single CPU core being used, then started downloading the GPU tasks. It's now up to around 50 GPU tasks since last night, http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=6813106. My other two Windows machines are holding at around 160 APs. Now compare that to my Mac, which I was able to revive by going back to Anonymous platform, but is stuck again at around 20 GPU tasks. Since the APs came back over a week ago, I haven't been able to get it above 20 GPU tasks. It appears Dena's Mac is stuck at around the same number. That number can't be a coincidence, it is being artificiality imposed. A check of the other Macs shows the same numbers; http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7237623&offset=0&show_names=0&state=0&appid=20 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7285978&offset=0&show_names=0&state=0&appid=20 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7276096&offset=0&show_names=0&state=0&appid=20 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7242334&offset=0&show_names=0&state=0&appid=20 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=2991797&offset=0&show_names=0&state=0&appid=20 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7309734&offset=0&show_names=0&state=0&appid=20 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=3265309&offset=0&show_names=0&state=0&appid=20 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=7337211&offset=0&show_names=0&state=0&appid=20 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=6797736&offset=0&show_names=0&state=0&appid=20 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=6157711&offset=0&show_names=0&state=0&appid=20 http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?hostid=5754631&offset=0&show_names=0&state=0&appid=20 |

First, watch my RAC as long as the data keeps coming (still running one GPU out of two). Second, it appears you don't know about the UNIX window. |

(;) It appears our machines have been broken out. I now have more tasks since before the explosion (BE). I don't see any obvious changes, but something has changed. Hopefully it will stay that way. Happy New Year |

I don't see any obvious changes, but something has changed. Almost out of MB tapes to split. Only 4 tapes left, 15 channels to do. Less I/O contention from the MB splitters allowing the AP ones to pick up the pace? AP splitting rate has surged- now up to 1.87/s. That's even with 3 splitters working on the one file. it's really hard to use a "unix" window with 1 button :)) It is, you have to use all the buttons on the keyboard : ) By the way, the mouse has two buttons in addition to scroll features |

it's really hard to use a "unix" window with 1 button :)) Two-button click Magic Mouse functions as a two-button mouse when you enable Secondary Click in System Preferences. Left-handed users can reassign left and right click, as well. https://www.apple.com/magicmouse/ Of course, even my 2008 Mac came with a 2 button, scroll button, mouse... |
