A politician is a person who doesn't answer questions with "yes", "no" or "maybe".

Message 1644237 - Posted: 19 Feb 2015, 20:34:49 UTC

---------------------------------------------------------
There was a great power that was worried about its longtime rival’s efforts to undermine it. Its leaders thought the rival power was stronger and trying to throw its weight around all over the world. In fact, this longtime rival was now interfering in places the declining state had long regarded as its own backyard. To protect this traditional sphere of influence, the worried great power had long maintained one-sided relationships with its neighbors, many of them led by corrupt and brutal oligarchs who stayed in power because they were subservient to the powerful neighbor’s whims.

But suddenly, a popular uprising toppled the corrupt leader of one of those client states, and he promptly fled the country. The leaders of the uprising seemed eager to align with the great power’s distant rival, in part because they admired the rival’s ideology and wanted to distance themselves from the neighbor that had long dominated their much-weaker country. In response, the tough-minded conservative leader of the now very worried great power ordered his government to arm rebel groups in the former client state, to prevent the new government from realigning and eventually to drive it from power.

Sound familiar? Of course it does, but the great power in this story isn’t Russia, the tough-minded leader isn’t Putin, and the troubled weak neighbor isn’t Ukraine. The great power in this story was the United States, the leader was Ronald Reagan, and unfortunate neighbor was Nicaragua.

I don't understand Britain and Western Europe getting their 'panties in a bunch' when a TU-95 strolls down the English Chanel............

The US intercepts Bears DAILY off the coast of the US. Remember? Alaska is only 3 1/2 miles from Russia. The Bears aren't the worry, just a harrying tactic to see who squeals.

Not only TU-95 'strolls' down the English Chanel. Russian Navy as well.
In the Baltic sea we have even more Russian military precence and border-crossings. Minisubs 10 miles from Stockholm. Russian bomber trainings very close to Gotland and Öland. Russian SIGINT planes jeopardizing civilian air trafic in Skåne close to Copenhagen Airport Kastrup.
Should we worry? I thinks so even if its only Russia showing muscles.

Anyway, what have Putin learned from Nicaragua that are very far from the situation in Ukraine today, politically, geographic and time?

Russian propaganda at its best. "Nurse was killed by Ukrainian forces"
Then it shows a picture of a US porn star:)
http://belsat.eu/en/articles/russian-propaganda-shows-us-porn-star-sasha-grey-battle-nurse-killed-ukraine/

Russian forces conducted 49 attacks on Ukrainian targets in Donbas yesterday, ignoring the ceasefire.
Russian massively reinforces its invasion army in Ukraine.
Yesterday, 4 columns w/ 28 tanks/apc and 55 trucks entered.
Russian manned fighter jets fly over Sakhanka and Zaichenko 15 km east of Mariupol, but no Ukrainian air defense reaction!!

Another warcrime! Russian troops destroyed Ukrainian ambulances evacuating wounded.
There is a video from RT Ruptly but too graphic to link.

Looks like a small field hospital and several of the Ukrainian bodies lay on stretchers.

A joke in the social networks, nowhere in serious media. It's your happiness that you don't read the Ukrainian social networks...

Yes, without reaction, of course, because it was not any jets in the reality.

Another warcrime! Russian troops destroyed Ukrainian ambulances evacuating wounded.

War crime - to put the ambulance car in column with the military transport and to move there where the column will be under the fire unambiguously.

View the video from RT Ruptly!
The ambulances where not in a column.
It was intended that the ambulances would go to Artemivsk but were shot at before they even started.
They were trying to bring wounded Ukrainian soldiers back from the front.
The road is called the M03 but has been called "the path of life," leads north towards Artemivsk and hospitals.

Where do you find all those obscure western websites:)
As we approach February 21, the first anniversary of the start of the Ukraine crisis

No it's TODAY.
Here an interactive map of the massacre on the Maidan exactly a year ago.
Transformed Ukraine and changed Europe and still no justice for EuroMaidan victims.
http://www.rferl.org/contentinfographics/map-maidan-massacry-kyiv-february-20/26854235.html

And this NATO nonsens. Putin are terrified that NATO are in border countries to Russia. It's Putin that has done everything to create this mess. Not the western countries. Without him this mess probably wouldn't happened.

Putin even have the nerve to threaten both Sweden and Finland if we will join NATO. Путин - хуйло!

Why do you think so? Also, I see no any Red Cross on the car. Do you understand that the ambulance cars in the regions of war must have the Red Cross (Red Crescent, etc.) emblem?

Maybe you don't know modern history well? March 12, 1999, Poland joined the NATO. Poland has common border with Russia. Yeltsin was president of Russia in March 1999.

Now you are being silly again!
I have help on this from an author, film researcher and member of the Swedish Military History Commission. We have a common friend, a schoolmate of mine for 12 years, who has written many books about Soviet Union and Russias espionage and military activities since the early 80's.
It's sad to hear that Khazakstan have the same bad description of history as Russia!

This is the most important Russian article in many weeks, with several confirmations regarding Russian troops in Ukraine.
Even the russian people are wondering what the f**k is going on.
https://translate.google.se/translate?hl=sv&sl=ru&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.kommersant.ru%2Fdoc%2F2671088
But Putin and Lavrov and their henchmen still denies any involvement.
Russia even have soldiers from Buryatia that borders to Mongolia!
(The Republic of Buryatia (Russian: Респу́блика Буря́тия] is a federal republic of Russia)
About Donbass and "Novorossia"
Fake Republic, fake ceasefire, fake aid, fake press. Everything's fake but the killing.

Igor. Thanks for the video link to Abkhazian Network News Agency AKA ANNA News:)
The Republic of Abkhazia or Apsny, still part of Georgia, status is only recognised by Russia, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Nauru and also by the partially recognised state of South Ossetia, and the unrecognised Transnistria in Moldova and Nagorno-Karabakh:)

Please dont link to Anna News, Russian Lifenews and Donbass Southfront.
They are all crap and I think you know that as well.

btw Where is the presence of well-trained mercenaries of NATO mentioned by the publisher?
In the tenacious hands of raccoons they got a new exclusive material from the already legendary village Chernukhin, battles for which were particularly fierce due to the presence of well-trained mercenaries of NATO. After militias storming again they found a mobile phone with a record on which invigorating dill dreaming of a bright future. Being good people, the militia on the same phone recorded a bit of advice for those who want to come to the Donbass and try to take away their homeland. In order not to be unfounded, they removed the former owners and the phone, or rather all that was left of them.

Oops forgot this:)

Repeating from another related Thread:
Putin says Russia's military strength unmatchable:
"No one should have the illusion that they can gain military superiority over Russia, put any kind of pressure on it. We will always have an adequate answer for any such adventures,"
http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/02/20/us-russia-putin-military-idUSKBN0LO1NQ20150220

Putin are living in a fantasy World.
Russia has about the same military superiority as Britain and France combined.
Nukes not included.
Then there is all other small countries in Europe that have armies as well.
