but I have these never used character § and ½.
And it took about US until mid 90's to learn these åäö very important character in Sweden and Finland. Norway, Iceland and Denmark has also different character.
Germany (ü) and France as well.
It was hell to be a programmer those days.

And arabic and farsi...

I know about AScII codes i just didn't realize you could use the ALT button and the number pad to bring them up .
But then i'm lazy and don't know harf the keyboard short cuts you can use . Bad habits i spose from way back when i started with the Trash 80 computer

I have heard about them but programmers and system developers from all the world as I am hate those characters. Except US developers who just giggles. Doh!
It started to get better at 1995 but still we have to spend thousands of hour to fix all the problems.

USA. Its a World outside America! And please. Try to learn some other language besides English. It helps.
