No need to apologise. I'm never offended by religion. In fact I'm a lapsed catholic & don't give a damn about anyone's religion. One's belief should be down to the individual themselves & not forced down the throat of others.

Oh... um... you're welcome... I think. Still think wrong is being done on both sides though and I did think the piece was a tad - paranoid - but maybe not (given the poor way things started off for them as a nation state) but it did sort of remind me of some of the justifications the South African National party used to keep Mandela in jail - and look how that turned out.

I'm a great believer in letting go of past grievances and trying to make a fresh start involving lots of friendly chatting :) but it is hard... particularly when your relatives and friends keep getting bits blown off them :(

Well after over 60 years of violence I would find time to see why they are cheering for the murder of three of my children.

Unfortunately no matter what part of the world one looks at, to defend the peace, one must prepare for war.

To do that, weapons must be manufactured & again unfortunately, there comes a day when they get used.

Regardless of nationality, religion or politics, peace=sanity, war=insanity.

Mankind will never change!

It's not just those two reasons alone. Much of the blame has to be lain at cultures themselves.

My 2nd girlfriend after I left school was Jewish & a stunningly beautiful young woman. The problem for me erupted shortly after her rape in 1973. The rape itself left not only her & her family devastated but me as well as she refused to see me as she felt guilty & ashamed.

The problem was at the police station, there were not that many women police officers as there are now. The attitude of the officers involved left much to be desired & I was even threatened with arrest.

Years later, I has a lovely Jamaican girlfriend only to have my own mother call her a black b*tch.

Muslims like many females outside of their own culture, but heaven forbid we date one of theirs.

Just what does nationality or religion have to do with a male & female entering a relationship is beyond me.
