It is not SETI just the political forum that I have lost all respect for. That is why Eric created the Peace Wall between the cafe any discussions on politics. It used to happen in the cafe and the troubles would spread to other threads. Reality Internet Personality |

I'm not sure how they do it in America, but in most places the piping will come into the house underground.Yes so what? That's not how billing works. None are so blind ass those who will not see. I have lost all respect for this supposed site. So a case of a meter being set at (say for example) $1.00 per unit when it should be set at $0.50 per unit is the customer's fault? When the customer contacts the company receives nothing but waffle from the company's call centre & in the process running up an un-necessary telephone bill is not the company's problem? When the company finds that they're dealing with a savvy customer, they get thrown that get out of jail card - Sorry sir/ma'am, we suffered a computer glitch/error. Computers don't make mistakes, they can only process data fed to them - Who feeds the data in? Sorry Batter-Up, for the past several months you have been coming across like the hacker from one of the Die Hard films - you know, the one stuck in his basement with his computer & only sees the light when mummy calls him for his food. |

It is really your choice, keep reading the posts here and keep getting annoyed or do something else.I can take the heat no problem. That is not why I have lost all respect. If you want a mutual admiration society just say so. Or is that what you just did? Its quite obvious you cant take the heat. Thats why for the past few days we have seen your diatribes of quitting, Sending an E-mail to your Senator, And pouting about how bad it is in the politcs forum. But yet you are still posting in here. [/quote] Old James |

So this is your poster child for the summer. They don't look like the usual community activists. How many actually live in Detroit? This was planned for some time I can see. If they are foreigners they must be immediately deported. Instead of the Tea Party the IRS should investigate them. |

So we can expect to see a quiet tidy US then as 99.5% of you are immigrants or descendants of immigrants... ...and as we know, immigrants are foreigners are they not? |

There you go again; the "first nation" didn't have written laws. They didn't have anything written. Why don't you people become the Commonwealth of Nunavut? Do the right thing. |
