Lots of shorties, no ready-to-send buffer (it's empty), result creation rate has dropped down even further (less than 9 at the moment), and i'm getting the occasional stuck download. Grant Darwin NT |

@ 1:50 UTC all the transitioners are showing that they've gone out to lunch again. Cheers. |

The creation rate drops to allmost zero. Somebody must kick the servers or we will be doomed. |

Hey! Christmas! Peace on Earth and all that jazz. It's only 7pm in Berkeley. Give it another 13 hours and a few minutes and I'm sure someone will kick them. In the meantime, not crunching is not going to kill you. (Well, it might kill Mark. His rigs are a major source of heat for his house in the frozen waste of central Cheeseland.) Hey! Christmas! Peace on Earth and all that jazz. Yeah, my crunchers supply most of my heat. But, the furnace is always on standby in case something goes wrong with the crunchers or the Seti servers. Looks like work is flowing again. Good thing, as it's supposed to get down to 0f here tonight, and a cold wave with subzero lows starting early next week. I see some AP's are being split. I see no APs, but plenty of MBs. If you died for want of them, speak up. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

I see some AP's are being split. They ran out a few hours ago.... The kitties are crunching the ones they got now. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Another Shorty Storm? As I remember, the last SS was so bad the splitters couldn't keep up and they had to release the APs to meet demand. The MB Splitters look sick at present. With 400 MB channels waiting, releasing the APs may not be an option this time. Hmmmm... |

More splitter problems- apart from a couple of anomalies, splitter output has dropped off again & the ready-to-send buffer is barely managing to stay full. Grant Darwin NT |

I'm having problems getting work after the restart. Getting mostly no tasks available but also the HTTP error and a timeout. Cricket shows a spike on startup but the download traffic has declined to a below normal level. Replica is way behind and falls farther behind on each Server Status page update. Mostly okay now. Got my tasks and Cricket looks good. But the Server Status page hasn't updated for 50 minutes so I'm not sure what's holding that up or if replica has caught up. Another Fred Support SETI@home when you search the Web with GoodSearch or shop online with GoodShop. |

Back to no tasks available and Cricket did a tailspin. Another Fred Support SETI@home when you search the Web with GoodSearch or shop online with GoodShop. |

The SSP is still stuck, the Crickets just barely registering. Is there anyone left to apply the Server Kick? The Kick someone delivered yesterday was World class, can we have another? Anyone? |

It seems that the recovery from the weekly outages over the last couple of months is heading back to the bad old days. :-( Cheers. |

Well at least my backup projects are starting to kick in. Cheers. |

I guess I picked the wrong day to add a 3rd GPU to my T7400! Less than 4 hours of testing and its already out of work. Oh well, guess I'll just shut it down until 2014 since I'm not running any other projects and its not worth running the machine just for the CPU tasks. I'll probably shut down my xw9400 before I go to bed, too, if they haven't fixed the servers by then. |

I am still good until Thursday. Danimal is now crunching Einstein. It could be worse. Pluto will always be a planet to me. Seti Ambassador Not to late to order an Anni Shirt |
