My old Ford EF Falcon wagon is at the doctors ATM having a reconditioned head, steering rack and new front struts installed just so I can get several more years out of it as I plan on doing a bit of traveling over this country in the coming years.

in all likelihood the clips holding the box that holds the switches have broken. these are fairly easy to replace. I recommend Rockauto for replacement parts. they have quite an extensive inventory.


/edit Oh and the silly little retainers that hold the door panel on tend to work poorly after you've pulled them out. You can easily find replacements at your local auto parts store for a few bucks

Just got of the phone with the Sheriff. They don't believe it was Arson, as they didn't find any Gasoline on the Engine.
They won't persue it, unless the perp cops to it.
Very strange.
I guess in the other cases, they forced entry (mine was unlocked) and left notes, HAHA or something like that.

I wonder if some software upgrades were done before the late outage today which may have caused that.

I prograstinated on fixing this and now the truck is toast.
Got a loud knock on the door at 1:30 AM. Fire Dept, your truck is on fire.
It was contained to the engine dept, of course a total loss.
Six other suspicious vehicle fires where reported. Three within four blocks and about the same time.
99% sure I am a victim of an Arsenist.
The Sheriffs were canvasing neighbor hood gas stations and think they have a suspect.
Not confirmed, but most likely gasoline was the exellerant and then a blow torch was used. The latter info was given to me by my claims adjuster.

Now of to Rocky's.
