"Tory MP John Baron, who opened the defence debate, said: ‘The time has come to say halt: halt to the axeing of the regular battalions and units until we are sure the reservist plans are viable and cost effective.’"

But.......

Wasn't it the Tories who under their SDR started the ball rolling?

Oh dear, I call them muppets which is derogatory in itself, but for you to call a senior minister a twat, now that is an insight to cherish....

...just wait one while I snip this just in case it disappears from view.

Edit: Saved for prosperity. It can disappear now :)

I think you'll find that it's Lt.Commander and upwards to command ships.

And still failing to see the actual report which happens to be true. The SDR has and still is causing problems. How is it that whenever I post using the Waily Fail as a link you jump onboard damned fast yet when it's the Baghdad Broadcasting Company you ignore it?

Training to become a cleric then are we?

Ah but as you so eloquently put it, didn't the Nick & Sirius Show, already highlight all that?

Hmmn, that short term selective memory is playing you up again, go see your doc as it looks like you're running out of pills.

The smaller ships like Mine Hunters etc are usually commanded by Lt.Commanders.

A warship is a ship that is built and primarily intended for combat. As well as being armed, warships are designed to withstand damage and are usually faster and more maneuverable than merchant ships. Patrol Ships and Minehunters are the smaller fighting ships of the Royal Navy that have some armament.

Still a Royal Navy Warship. After all your banging about the "Yankees" running down the Royals, I don't think Prince Charles would like your views of the Royal Navy.

Just tick the appropriate box.

Taffy from sarf lunnen, you got yur ears on mate?

"Conservative MP Zac Goldsmith said Mr Cameron and Labour leader Ed Miliband were "Muppets""

"During a boisterous Prime Minister's Questions session, Mr Cameron was ticked off by Commons Speaker John Bercow for twice describing Mr Miliband as a "con man""

Hey Taff, think you'd better run to Nancy Boy quick and have him castigate both those muppets for publicly bringing your 'beloved' nation into the gutter as you've done it often enough on here!

Better yet, take Ed with you, he's got the balls if you haven't.

Edit: Oh and not a Waily Fail report in sight!

Por Del-boy, whatever next?

All we need now is some twit in power to call them thieves!

She's, in reality, a lost case now Chris. Yet the benefits system could be easily
amended to limit the amount of children in a family that the parents, in the
future, can claim allowances for.

Well they better get their skates PDQ.....

Another lost case

"But despite pleading poverty, Mrs Prudham has been seen complaining on Facebook about the hassle of applying for passports for all nine of her children, who she is taking to Menorca."

Makes one wonder why we bother to work at all.....

Just stop reading the daily mail, you'll be much happier.

"And despite a sea of negative comments the mother-of-nine insists she could even have more children if handed a bigger house.
Mrs Prudham said: 'I’m not saying I’m going to have another child, but if want to have another one, I will.'
Still saying that sterilisation is a bad idea?

Nine kids though, wonder if there's any tread left on the tyres at all...

Let families have as many children as they like but just limit family allowances
to cover just the first two children only. Also limit housing allowance to that
sufficient to cover a standard three bedroomed house. If a family chooses to go
beyond two children then let it be known that this is their choice and financially
they are now on their own. Simple isn't it!!!

Well, why not adopt the Chinese policy? Seems far easier to implement and you won't end up with a ten person family living in a three bedroom pigsty and social services having to pick up the mess.

Quietly sterilised perhaps, castration is a little extreme. A vasectomy is a far quicker, cheaper and less invasive procedure.
