Here's a guy who's a lot more serious about trains than I am.

Is he winning or not?

Well He's serious alright, a train nut is what some would call Him, but whatever floats His boat.

Here in Yermo the area had some rain, the humidity in here is 65%, outside it's 51% down from 53%, the temp outside is 70F(21C) with light rain on the radar in green(below in pic)...

Glad to hear that, Ian.

Winning after the American Legion meeting. Transfer member tonight, WWII Marine who saw combat on Peleliu. Lots of new (to most of us) stories to tell.

Thanks Julie. Oh sure I do get some twinges still, if I try and walk too quickly, but I think that will go away soon enough, it's mainly in the back of the heel for some reason, could be anything.

The clock struck 12, now it's Poet's Day
But soon to bed I'll be on my way
I hope to slumber sound and deep
'Til in my window the sun does peep.

What Poets' Day again already?

But congrats on penning something that scans. Most efforts here don't.

The English language some will bludgeon,
Leaving the rest of us in high dudgeon
But when it comes to pins & gudgeon
You can't beat our Curmudgeon!

Excellent rhymes, but scansion varies from forced to non-existent.
To subedit the worst example "You cannot beat our dear Curmudgeon!"
