I once hit 100 in my first car, a '69 Buick LeSabre. It was totally unmodified and already in pretty crappy condition when I owned it, but it didn't have any problem going that fast.

[edit]
I paid $425 for it in 1985 or '6.

What motor? The 350 or the 455?

If I recall, the LeSabre came with either flavor that year.
The one I owned was a 455 version.

350.

Part of the reason I didn't go any faster is that it was night on an unfamiliar road. There was traffic too. Not much, but some, and it wasn't going 100.

Here's a helmet for Monday. Or Vic. Or Angela. You should be able to see it without being on Facebook.

A cookie monster helmet, neat...

A Big Bird helmet would match my bike better. :)

Impossible pies are in fact possible.

Straight out of the infinite improbability oven.

All I have now is a 1999 Ford Escort zx2 HOT sport coupe w/ac that still needs fixing, right now I'm working on replacing a front door to the house and then the DMV and smog check in September, the bike and any stang are long gone, someone else owns them now.

I'll stick with the Ford Orion RS, plenty of room for me plus four ladies, 195 horsepower to eat up the road, with a massive boot for a subwoofer and all their handbags.

Bikes can only take one girl at a time unless you're some kind of Chinese circus team, thus making a car 300% better.
Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge.

Quite the lad around town aren't we? Handbags in the boot? Funny girls you date then, most I know would bash you around the head with them :-)

I think he meant their overnight bags.
