So anybody else seeing this with MB ATI units? You aren't kidding about VLARs. I had no GPU work units, but 80 VLARs for the CPUs. Finally got some GPU work. It's too bad VLARs can't run decently on the GPUs. |

So anybody else seeing this with MB ATI units? I have 60 VLARs for CPU but also 39 VHARs for GPU. Doesn`t mean much. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

It's too bad VLARs can't run decently on the GPUs. They do run well on the current hardware, but there's still a lot of much older hardware where they bring the system to a crawl or even a standstill. It would be nice if the Scheduler could allocate work based on the type of GPU, but that would just make something that's already complicated even more so. Grant Darwin NT |

Hmm, Ready to Send buffer is slowly getting smaller, Server Ststus page shows only 1 MB splitter running. Will probably be out of work before the start of busniness Monday. Grant Darwin NT |

I think I vaguely remember long ago complaining about what I have labeled them as "hit and run" wingmates. Here's an example. Only one single contact, last date of contact was the same date it was created, has some credits, rest of the tasks seem like they're just going to time out. I'm sure these types of situations exist fairly frequently.. but it seems I get stuck with lots of them as wingmates. They could now enable those two AP spliters on lando to get that part done faster... |

If I calculated correct, it's now 10:22 AM in the SAH lab. I guess - although it's Sunday - someone will visit the lab today and will insert a few new tapes for to make new WUs. * Best regards! :-) * Sutaru Tsureku, team seti.international founder. * Optimize your PC for higher RAC. * SETI@home needs your help. * |

If I calculated correct, it's now 10:22 AM in the SAH lab. Actually I just received 3 GPU work units. Someone must be working on it at the lab. Results ready to send now shows as 1. |

You can't be sure of that, his computers are hidden, I've just received GPU workunits too, they aren't resends, they just happen to be Astropulse GPU Wu's, GPU Wu's none the less. Claggy |

I'm having about 30 ap tasks in download at a speed below 7kb per sec and they keep getting stalled or all getting a server backoff.... Anyone getting good speed to Northern Europe?? |

For one minute I sent an EMail to David, Eric, Matt and Jeff, because of no new SAH Enhanced WUs ready for DL. Maybe there is something wrong. * Best regards! :-) * Sutaru Tsureku, team seti.international founder. * Optimize your PC for higher RAC. * SETI@home needs your help. * |

Which endings the WUs had? x_0, x_1, or x_2, x_3 .. ? * Best regards! :-) * Sutaru Tsureku, team seti.international founder. * Optimize your PC for higher RAC. * SETI@home needs your help. * |

[quote]For one minute I sent an EMail to David, Eric, Matt and Jeff, because of no new SAH Enhanced WUs ready for DL. I was led to believe at one time that the process of adding datasets to the splitting queue was somewhat automated. But with all the unsplit AP work still to be done, it may not kick in automatically. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Running on SETI dryland again, let´s hope they switch the tapes automaticaly (a good oportunity to learn something new) and when the AP split ends the MB split restart, or we will need to wait until tommorrow when someone could do the chance manualy. |

They don't normally swap tapes until they have been split for both MB & AP, so we could have some wait given the current rate of (not) splitting the APs :-( Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |
