I am not ignorant......and I shall not stop with my death.

I shared a lot with this man.
His blue permiated my life when he first started out..........
I listened to his last note at Alpine Valley.........

No, I am not he who tells lies.

I have to go. None now yet. So be it.

You laugh. I do not.

What some of you don't realize is that I play 'kitty doctor' to my beloveds all the time.

I fell like a drug dealer, dicing up all those pills sometimes.

Squirrel, my eldest needs her meds every single day. I slice the pills and dice them up. EVERY day. Mix them with her food. And so far, God has been kind, she is always still hungry. Except for a few times, when her gums got infected, and I had to get her MORE meds for that.

Tigger II's worries I hope are over. The white spot in her eye is now almost clear. After a couple of weeks of antibiotics and steroid drops in her eyes, it's almost gone. She keeps hanging around now, because I let her get into Squirrel's food a couple of weeks ago, so now she hangs around waiting for SQ to get done with eating so she can haz a snack. I have to hold her off until SQ has eaten all her food with meds. Then I dish up another round without any meds in it so Tigger can have her treats.

Sigh. A good problem to haz, I guess.

The uptime is when I go to bed, and both of them cannot wait to nuzzle me to sleep. As well as Purrball and Bandit....

You see, they all love me to death. So dearly. All four of them.
I lay down to sleep and they all cluster around me, vying for my attention.
Nuzzles, kitty kisses, the claws of death...LOL.

I do not make these things up.........

Meow....love you all sooooooooooo much, kitties.

Oh, dear. a good soul goes awry........
Legal help needed...... Could not save them all.........

Seems to me.......the 'system' had a problem, not the kind ol' kitty lady.
They had contact with her and knew about the impeding problem years ago.

I know I played a crapload of her stuff a while back.......I'll sort out what is was soon enough.

But for now......her current cut......And this is three years old, I am sOOOOOOOOOOOOOo behing the freaking curve.

Remember this a year or so ago>

This is hilarious.
I was kinda into Christain dating sites back then, just for kicks.

You would not believe how many devoted Christian ladies wanted to ramble when I posted the cut to them. They just up and said, Hell, Yeah........let's ride, honey.

One more kitty tune, usually rationed out like kibbles on a hot day in July.

I'll give it to ya now, kids.
This gurl makes December look like the coming June.....guarantee.......

I don't know her from Adam.
Most musical acts I break here I have some old connections to.
A studio, a promoter that went bad, something.
I just confess I do not or cannot remember anything about this gurl.

So enjoy, without any pretext of MINE, The fine lady, Ashley Monroe.......

And a strange, very young kid playing slide.......I know most of the players in Nashville, and I never saw this kid before. Must be some up and coming kid I know nothing about. Interesting, and VERY talented.

I suspect my agents will be posting me about him soon.
Amd one day, soon, you maybe singing this song about me.

Looks like the dobro/slide guitar player from Bering Strait. They were a bluegrass band out of Russia. 60 minutes' Morley Safer did a piece on them in 2008 or 2009. They work out of Nashville. Two CDs that I know of, plus a lot of session and tour work for other acts.

So far as I know, Pete is still alive.
His voice still rings true, either way.
Sung by other witnesses, of course.

One of whom was my favorite folk singers of all time.
Mary Traves, now of course, dearly departed.

There are reason I cannot bring myself to travel this road very often these days......you may understand.

I might follow my friends down their journey, and God has not quite told me to go go there yet.

He has kinda hinted, but no commands have come down from on high as of yesterday when I last checked my imperial emails.

There are few moments in my life that have been truly worthwhile to others.
Things that I have tried to share, which were not of my own making, but were gifted to my by the Lord above.
Things I had nothing to do with. Except to share with you.
Mary Allen Travers was one person I was able to share this planet with, giving me more than I could ever repay her.
Joan Baez is another. And she is still with us.
SRV yet another still.
All of them had a gift that I was never given, but longed for so deeply it made their gifts all so much more precious.

So, if I get a little lost in remembering such things, please forgive me.
Please?

And who the F is ra ra riot, and why are they spamming my youtube home page?

Hi Mark,

Trying to copy a utube kitty link - hope it works

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NY_cxi7anVs

I really like this - it just seems so French moody and melancholic, like one of those olf French language films from years ago.

Hope it works

Hello all, I have a kitty question.
About 3-4 months ago, we took in a stray kitty we named Mia. I posted about her at the time. Rose, my wife, doddles over her all the time, and calls her constantly. I have been very nice to Mia, but she doesn't like me at all. She runs from me, or when I have been lucky enough to pet her, she turns her back on me. That is not the problem though, as I handle snakes all the time, and even though some are very friendly, others are not. They all have good homes with me.

We have 5 kitties in all, with the other 4 being males from 13 to 17 years old. The 4 boys have always been good natured, even though the tuxedo cat and the Maine Coone have had a few scuffles over the years. Mia is next to impossible to get in a vet carrier, and requires a 45 minute battle and chase to wear her out so she can be caught.

The real problem is that she is bullying the 13 year old Siamese mix, named Graham. He is a very sweet and timid kitty, and Mia is driving him crazy, attacking him under the bed. His habits have all changed, and he is extremely nervous all the time now. Mia was an outdoor cat, but now lives indoors, as there are many predators where I live. I am open to suggestions of how to tame her down a bit, and stop picking on the smaller, older Graham. My wife and I feel really bad for the little kitty. I have asked my wife to not call Mia all the time, and just treat her like the rest of the kitties. She had singled her out, trying to make her feel welcome, but she is very stand offish. I am thinking that she should be treated just like "one of the boys".

If anyone has any suggestions, they would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Steve

Dunno, Steve.

I have issues once in a while between kitties chasing tails here now and again.
One just gets her dander up, and decides to claw the othter's tails........smoke and puff then, eh?

And these are all gurlz......One almost 18yo, and the other three are siblings.
Now almost ten years old. They all know each other, they love each other. but, I wake once in a while to unearthly kitty screams.........

I suspect there are territorial issues at hand, and the only advice I can give is much heavy petting in close proximity, so they understand they are not competing with each other. This may take some time to aproximate the kitties in proper juxtapostition.......it's not easy when kitties are not happy with one another, I know.

Sniff and touch, at your own risk, but it must be done.

Much gentle coersion will be necessary.

The one and only issue I have here is that the kitties all want my attention sooooooooo much that there can be issues at bedtime when the all try to position for my night time good night petting. It can get nasty if I don't pet them all in time. It takes an hour at best for me to go to bed every night.
They just don't sometimes understand the meaning of sleep.

They just don't sometimes understand the meaning of sleep.

That is an understatement!
The kitties think we should get up at 4:30 AM on weekends!
There is no off button to the kitty alarm clocks!
I think they all went on the Internet, and saw the clips of Simons cat.
