If you get lonely.. several of us will be over at Einsteins when the servers go down here.. they had a warm reception last time but it is good to be home.. for now. As more problems are dealt with.. well if you miss some of the crazier folks look for some of us there!!

Just remember to come back.. there is no place like home, there is no place like home....

It "should" only be a couple days each time. I'll be alright. Just remember to bookmark the free kibble links so the critters get fed while Seti is down.

Einstein is one of my three main projects so I crunch it all the time.

The boards are kind of slow compared to here, tho. ('Course, I've practically no free time to even be posting here so that kinda doesn't matter.)
Pure mathematics is, in its way, the poetry of logical ideas.

You might want to check this discussion out next time there is an outage here and you are feeling lost because you can't find the post button.

I just find it totally amazing the way some people freak out when Seti goes off air for a while. We all know it will come back, and in the meantime we can do some useful crunching elsewhere. I just don't understand the angst, and the "I'm so out of here" posts .......

Very true. Since 2007 that has been two multi-week outages due to equipment issues, but Dr K and the folks in the lab always manage to get it sorted out. :)

@ Julie: try PrimeGrid. In theory they ought to never be out of work.
