When living in New Mexico one thing I would kill for was Navaho Taco's. Super easy to make or you go home with a full belly Deli either way. |

So enlighten us, what is a Navaho Taco? Been thru NM a few times, but don't recall the pleasure of eating one. And yes I have been on a Reserve or two. Pluto will always be a planet to me. Seti Ambassador Not to late to order an Anni Shirt |

I think Grant Nelson misspelled the word Navaho, It's Navajo according to a Google search I just ran, they do exist, Here's the Link... The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Vic, I know he did, but that wasn't my question. That was the tribes name, but not nessessarily the Taco's. What is so special about the Taco? Pluto will always be a planet to me. Seti Ambassador Not to late to order an Anni Shirt |

Vic, I know he did, but that wasn't my question. That was the tribes name, but not necessarily the Taco's. As to what the tacos are really called, I have no idea. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

My mom made something that was almost identical. We called them Gorditas. |

I have eaten Indian Fry Bread before. Was intruduced to it in Kansas. Didn't relate it to a Gordita, since my version was sweet. Pluto will always be a planet to me. Seti Ambassador Not to late to order an Anni Shirt |

What I had, was a premix, just added water. I will get more info, next time I talk to my Ex-Mom in Law. It was her sister, that intruduced me to it. Pluto will always be a planet to me. Seti Ambassador Not to late to order an Anni Shirt |

People from India also fry bread. One name for it, probably mispelled, is parata. |

Navajo / Pueblo fry bread looks like it is more closely related to naan, lubhi or puri than paratha. It is very puffy (and there is a trick to that). BOINC WIKI |
