Thank you for confirming that the rebuke was well deserved. I'm really surprised that with your posting style that you have not had the thread locked. 1: Should you have visited your "other" thread, you will find that I felt sorry for Chloe Smith who I have met in Watton & even though she is only a junior minister, she is genuinely sincere. 2: Again, thank you for confirming that you do not care what others think as long as your opinion is the only one that counts. 3: So you want to continue associating with those that defraud the taxpayer & anyone who disagrees should go live in a banana republic...how very English of you! 4: Jim Henson gave us plenty to laugh at to escape the rigours of a hard weeks work - something which your favourite government has failed to do. Dear Mr Crow, Dear Mr R. Soles, I consider the reason for rejection of my job application amounts to a slur on my character. It fails to take into consideration my totally irrational approach to my radical actions when being radically opposed to all politicians being that there all bent and a total bunch of homosexuals. Plus all with their hands in the EU till getting hush money because all of Brussels is full of homo's too. As the EU being past it's sell by date, it has gone further than that! half of that lot are dead in their seats yet no one has noticed. As regards my past membership of the Jim Henson fan club, I like it to be known that I won their magazine competition yesterday and the prize is one years free membership. I won by correctly identifying Jim Henson's latest Muppet creation. The correct answer was Van Rompuy President of the ECM. Please will you re-consider my application. Yours faithfully, Bob Crow. p.s. I promise not to call the Muppets out on strike ever again. Dear Mr Crow, First, my apologies for the erroneous letter sent by the, now ex-assisant personnel manager. That correspondence was forwarded without my knowledge. After viewing your C.V, I find that you have excellent abilities & therefore offer you the position. I look forward to hearing from you. yours sincerely P M Honne CEO Daily Muppet PLC |

Ah, So this is how a civil conversation goes when there's no right-wingers involved. :-) It must be nice to have intelligent conversation about issues when everyone sees clearly, exactly what the problems are. #resist |

Ah, It's the other way around, Ex'; this is what you get when right-wingers get bored and start to bounce off one another. What? Light relief? Are you serious? Sirius is always serious! We could do with a few more MP's like this guy... "Since becoming chairman, Tyrie has cemented the reputation of the Treasury Select Committee as one of the most feared by its witnesses and most combative on behalf of the public. His scrutiny of the Libor scandal is bound to be forensic". Full interview...Outrage over rates fixing scandal |

What? Light relief? Are you serious? Sirius is always serious! Well, Sirius; this issue cannot be swept under the carpet for the whole of the UK's world standing in banking is at stake here. Find the culprits, who ever they are, even if there Jesus and feed them to the lions, or else the UK will repent for ever. As for the chiefs of those banks involved they are guilty of at least the minimal charge of "Joint gross neglect of duty and of responsibility" The Kite Fliers -------------------- Kite fliers: An imaginary club of solo members, those who don't yet belong to a formal team so "fly their own kites" - as the saying goes. |

Q1 How do you sleep at night?Oh that's alright then, no thoughts of the damage done to millions of people struggling to survive - thanks for showing the world(well at least this forum) that you're of the same mindset. NO wonder this country is in a cesspit! YES I know, why don't I bugger off to a banana republic - that's the only answer people of your catergory know. |

Oh Sirius, Chris was taking the "wee" a bit of good old British satire.. Sorry, but that's not the way he has been coming across lately, either on the boards or via PM's. I will state this though. Chris has made it public knowledge that he "knows" me - He does not - he has met me several times. I'm old school in that I can count the number of friends on one hand, all the others are just aquaintances, which is why I find the "Friends" on the account page hilarious. Also, are these satorial? 1254227 1254163 nothing at all to do with Nick as I'm the thread owner Banana Republic anyone? One must admit that one can see a pattern emerging here. |

With two and a half very big scalps on its door post I can't but help thinking how many more are quaking in their boots at the going s on in WoofersBank just now over this current debacle. Traders with their snouts in the trough, senior management starts by saying its "only a few traders" then start to resign in a hurry as the stuff starts to descend from on high. One can't but help think "senior management prodding greedy traders along"..... I wander who will be next? And will they be "falling on their swords", or will the swords be "pushed in their direction"? It's nice that they're falling on their swords, but as far as I'm concerned, & I'm pretty sure a lot more will be thinking the same is, WILL they be prosecuted or will their "friends" in high places prevent that from happening? |

Could this be seen as a case of collusion? Barclays reveals phone details Edit: some interesting points raised in this link.... Bank of England "eased" diamond out |

That email can be read two ways, one that it is a sign of some form of collusion, and the other that it is a warning. Either way round it does show that senior members of WoffersBank had, at the very least, an inkling of what was going on, so were to a greater or lesser extent culpable. Barclays reveals phone details The following quoted from Sirius's link. The bank has disclosed details of a phone call between former boss Bob Diamond and the deputy governor of the Bank of England, Paul Tucker, in 2008. Fee-Fi-Foe-Fum I smell the blood of a Government-mun. Who was the Chancellor in 2008....Alistair Darling. Your not going to tell me that the Paul Tucker did not share this Libor submission with his boss, the head of the BOE. Who too then would have been obliged to have shared his concern with the UK Chancellor? If Brussels had any morals it would have us kicked out from the ECM, but fortunately or for some of us, unfortunately, Brussels does't have any of these.
