And there still quite a few barrels of various English (and Scottish) real ales settling gently in the cellar. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Brewed especially for us, by several of the foremost Belgian brewers, who are sworn to secrecy over their involvement. I have to admit to preferring warm, flat English ales - because I grew up with them - but these specials are very palatable. Please do. I have to admit we have some of the best beers in the world. My favourite is the Westvleteren. It's a very rare beer and you can only get it in the abbey itself. It's also known to be one of the best beers in the world. rOZZ Music Pictures |

Whatever happened to the Beer Thread? I kinda miss it I found it wandering a few pages away. It's back on the front page now. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Don't forget that during the forth coming planned power outage we may have a limited service. fresh fruit and veg have arrived to go with the summer weather (at least here in the UK), so a whole range of salads and other fresh dishes, will be forth coming from the kitchen. Needless to say the kitchen staff themselves are glad not to be faced with cooking in the current temperatures...
