Danke schon mal :D |

Both Multibeam and Astropulse are Seti tasks. If you do not want to run Astropulse tasks select so in your preferences. Your Account -> Project preferences: Edit them. Run only the selected applications SETI@home Enhanced Yes (check mark) Astropulse v5 No (no check mark) Astropulse v5.05 No (no check mark) If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications? No (no check mark) Save changes with the Update preferences button. The next time that your system contacts Seti, these preferences will be used immediately. If you do not want to run the Astropulse you have to completion (it yields a lot of credits!), abort it. |

AstroPulse is another way of looking for ETI. AstroPulse = looking for broadband pulses MultiBeam (what you know as SETI@Home) = looking for narrowband pulses. So by doing AstroPulse, you are doing SETI@Home. |

You get more credits for AstroPulse because they take longer to process. |
