There should not be any problem uploading at this moment. I suspect the problem is at your side, for even your AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 630 has not contacted Berkeley for more than 3 days. Last contact was 15 jun 02:24 UTC Goodbye Seti Classic |

I've not had a workunit upload for over Two days now. I'd be looking at what's not right at your end then as everything has been running fine here for the last 30hrs and all 3 of mine have just contacted the server again and received work very quickly. Cheers. |

Uh Oh! Download traffic has just plummeted, uploads show traffic has dropped a bit but not much, yet nothing's actually going through at the moment. Grant Darwin NT |

Nice dip in the cricket graph. I'm getting up to 80KBps downloads. Who do I speak to about sheduling regular such dips? ok , I'm the silly. Must have cleared it's queue. But 80KBps sure made a nice change |

Well I was going to say that my XP machine started having probs uploading but 20mins later my Vista one started having the same prob and now my Win7 has just started doing the same. Well if they don't get it fixed in the next week or so then I'll just have to hit up my backup projects, though it was a good run. :D Cheers. |

It's odd whatever it is. The drop off in uploads i'd expect, just as a result of the drop off in download traffic. The amount of upload traffic is what i'd expect if only uploads were going through, but mostly they're not. I had about 50 queued up for upload. About 40 of them just went through while typing this, one after the other. Now none of the remaining ones are even starting to upload. They just time out, some after a couple of seconds, most after 30-45 secs. Grant Darwin NT |

It's odd. Sometimes they upload like a dream, sometimes they get totally stuck. It's almost as if the project has got the same round-robin DNS going for uploads as they use for downloads - yet AFAIK we still only have one upload server. I might try watching IP addresses, if I get bored. |

It's almost as if the project has got the same round-robin DNS going for uploads as they use for downloads - yet AFAIK we still only have one upload server. That's what i've been thinking. Whole batches go through with no problem at all and at a good speed, then 40+ all get stuck & take several retries each before they go through & they upload quite slowly. As you say, just like downloads when one server is having problems- but as you also mentioned, there is only the one upload server. Grant Darwin NT |

Is there a problem with the validate servers? The last 2 work units that I have turned in have been waiting for at least an hour. The server stats page shows they are working. Avians and Myrmicats, the Octospiders, and the Humans all living in one huge cylinder in space called RAMA. |

The Server Stats page is about 12 hrs out of date. It's not likely to be correct. |
