But for the love of a cat, go I. I sometimes sit.......and wonder why. Of opinions, I am not too shy, But I sit and I do wonder why...... But for the love of a cat. They don't demand much. Or need other than your touch.........now and again. They just need a little. Brush up against their little whiskers upon your chin. And it then becomes clear...... They love you. they do. All day long, all their lives. They give to you. They are kitties. That's what they do. Sigh. That's what they do. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

How true and when their gone You miss that feeling they give You, Who says their not habit forming? If It is a habit, Then Its worth every penny, Cause their love is not quantifiable, But It is evident none the less. Grace is sleeping right now. Yes, kitty love is a very special kind of love. They hold nothing against you, unless they are abused. The look in kitty's eyes when they look up at you cannot be quite described to one who does not know kitty love. It is sensed in your heart...pierces you to the core. And stays with you forever. I shall remember Callie's eyes until I pass myself. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

And, oh, crap. Thought I was over this, but tears just welled up again. Remembering the last time I held her. It will pass more quickly this time. But, damn. It hurts to lose one so dear. I am getting better even as I post this. So, don't worry about me folks. I shall be OK. It helps just to have a place to vent sometimes. I do hope I don't impose too much. And yes, I can still........ Meow. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

I know 'where you are coming from', Mark. I 'lost' my 9 year-old friend, Button, on 6th January and for a small cat, she has left a huge space, horribly empty. Mere words can never hope to convey, just how much I miss her. Of the cause of her death, I will only say this; be very careful about the 'spot-on' flea treatments you might use (Google the product name and add 'side-effects' to an Advanced Search)....it would seem that the one I used, has become one that is not as safe as it claims to be and is also one that many vets will no longer use. I can't give more specific details, in spite of thousands of similar cases (including dogs), purely for legal reasons. That, is a triumph, of the law, over, experience. The possible, versus the actual. Sleep well, Calli and, my dear friend, Button. Don't take life too seriously, as you'll never come out of it alive! |

Thank you for the kind thoughts, and returning sorrow for your loss. Amazing how such a small soul can take such a big place in one's heart. She was a dear one indeed. Meow. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |
