have gotten 4.13, it is now installed, but am still getting the following:

SETI@home - 2004-11-06 05:54:20 - Deferring communication with project for 16 hours, 40 minutes, and 17 seconds
SETI@home - 2004-11-06 06:54:20 - Deferring communication with project for 15 hours, 40 minutes, and 17 seconds
SETI@home - 2004-11-06 07:54:20 - Deferring communication with project for 14 hours, 40 minutes, and 17 seconds

Try using in the tab "Projects" the "Update" function. This could resolve the problem.

If there is a problem with communications to the project server or the BOINC CC version is not new enough, the client will then try again in 24 hours. Other types of problems defer communications for different lengths of time.

Projects - right click on the client - update will short circuit all of these with the exception that S@H has a 10 minute minimum retry time if the scheduler was actually contacted.
