A beer. A GLORIOUS beer.
After 12 hours on a plane crossing 5 time zones, landing at 3am local, followed by a 3 hour drive in a black monsoon ... I have arrived and grasped a strategically placed Cold Beer.
Which just evaporated; so I have to open another.
In an hour or so it will be dawn and I would have a view from the deck (see photo above) except I'll be asleep then. But for now - oohh the beer is glorious.

Great thread Steve. Typing while drinking. Another good concept.

Sniff....
Two things on my todo list didn't get done. Drinking a Bischoff and Jever Beer. Instead, I was treated to some very good wine from the Palatine town of Forst.

I like to do many things, and drinking beer is one of them. I truely enjoy a good beer, and my system won't let me drink anything else without paying dearly. Beer is a quick, easy social drink, that can bring many people together in a short time. Whether someone visits me, or I visit a friend. the first thing said is "Would you like a beer?" The answer is always "Don't mind if I do."

Sometimes when there isn't time for mountain climbing, physics, computer repairs, cleaning snake cages, then a beer is just perfect.

To you, my friends!
Cheers!

I did drink some beer on Tuesday night, in the hopes to help me sleep. It wasn't bad, just not what I hoped to drink.

Here is a picture from the front of my house I think from 2008. It was a nice snowy day, and I was warm by the fire.

Thank you! I love to take pictures of scenery, birds, flowers, mountains, and interesting things. I will post a few now and then. Here is a picture taken across the street.
