Reading another thread made me wonder what good beers I am missing out on. Jason_G says have a cold Australian Beer and I thought Fosters? I bet not...But what other good beer comes from Australia? What good beer comes from where you live?

Well I believe it's owned by fosters, and closely related to 'VB' (victoria bitter)

If I travel to Massachussets, I found a German beer I really like. It is something like 13% alchohol. EKU 23 is the name. Very good!

There is another one from Dogfish Brewery called World Wide Stout. It is close to 20%, but as yeast can't be active at that concentration, I suspect there is some distillery going on. One 12 oz bottle will give you a nice buzz.

In that case, My uncle runs some micro brewery out of Tilburg - Holland. 27 kinds last time I checked, including chocolate beer & a champagne-like beer ... I can't pronounce the name unfortunately, but stayed quite warm during my last visit ~2000.
