I lived up at the Grand Canyon for a 3 years, we only had PO Boxes, mine was PO Box 492, my zip was 86023-0492.

UPS, FedEx and DHL all delivered to our central warehouse and then we had to go pick up the package from there.

Luckily I have a actual mail service out here, it is a contractor but that is still better than having to go somewhere to get my mail.

All the services deliver to my home as well.

Well only UPS, FedEx and DHL come out to our homes(which is a street address as You do live on a street I take It), The Mail does not come to our Homes, Just to the distant Post Office as I've said over and over again... :getting PISSED off: Hisssss

So why did all this start? Mwave would have shipped FedEx and didn't need your extra numbers....

Cause My bank uses a 9 digit zip code as part of My street address where I live and Mwave would not allow Me to enter more than 5 digits(Mwave said It was an IT problem with their website, Which I doubt they'll fix anytime soon), So the whole address would not match and so they could not do a VISA transaction, As those missing 4 digits means the address I could enter on Mwaves website does not match what the Bank has and as I said I will not shorten My zip code for Mwave's satisfaction. As I have said over and over again, Go see My last post or go fly a kite...

BTW most if not all delivered goods offer you a "comment" section or attn line. you could use that line to add your full zip code.

I'm also very aware of odd mailing distributions. I knew a guy from Kentucky whose family name was their address. they were so far off the track that they had mail delivered by name because the people of the town didn't have any real streets.

Mwave does not do that online, I wish they would.

Mwave wants an address, city, state and a 5 digit zip code.

My bank has My address, city, state and a 9 digit zip code.

And so the two do not match and since mail out here needs that extra 4 digits I can't remove It, Ok??? Don't ask Me about this ANYMORE OK????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Atheros AR5BXB61 802.11b/g(that does Super G or 108Mbps) Mini PCIe Wireless Card

on ebay for $9.95 total delivered to Me, Shipping is Free(Its included I know) and there's no tax.

Now I just need one of these:

MP2W
But right now I can't as I've spent enough for this month and Its $51.89 delivered to Me.

Of course for the P7P55D Pro I'll get this one or one that's less than $35.89 delivered to Me.

I found that same 2nd pic when I looked earlier. Never knew those kind of adapters existed. I'm not thinking about getting something like that to do some playing around.

I dunno, every notebook I've had for the past 12 years .... the first thing that goes on them are those built-in WiFi modules. At least now-a-days, they're cheap :-)

You got to admit though It's a neat solution that I came up with, Besides the usb wireless is old and I'd rather leave It attached where It is at now anyway, Unless I have no other choice that is. :D

If you insist on getting online stuff try getting a PO box

That's the problem Skildude, all he has is a PO Box. His town is so small they don't have a mail delivery service to their door. They have to pick the mail up in the local saloon or general store like in the old westerns on tv.

I already have one, I just don't use It as part of My address anymore as It's not something others need to know, as the 4 digit zip code extension serves that purpose anyway.

Well I ordered the motherboard on Monday from Newegg and what do Ya know, UPS showed up and delivered It to Me at My door today, As soon as I get the I/O shield and the Mini pci-e card, I'll post pics of them, But for the moment Here's the 1st pic.

Oh and why does the box say Asus P6T SE? Simple Newegg reused an old box, It looks like they recycle some, Neat.

Must be nice to live in California, my box just arrived in Phoenix and will be here tomorrow.

Of course I have ordered something from Phoenix, selected standard shipping(3-5 days) and got it the next day.

Hows the snow in Yer area Arkie? Our mountains still have lots of the white stuff, Even though Its slowly melting and the area as a whole is still damp as We got our proverbial clocks cleaned(Car too mostly).

I guess UPS wasn't too busy, As I'm not exactly nearby really.

I may get more in the coming days of course and outside of the bag, two sheets of foam and the inside out box, That's all I got there outside of what Newegg did provide, Which is a nice shipping box and paper packing material for the old motherboard(Asus P5K Deluxe, Asus P5K Deluxe box too), cpu(Intel Q9300), ram(Patriot Viper, 4GB w/fins), cpu fan(120mm), heatsink and thermalright cpu heatsink mounting plate and screws.

Not much snow left around me, a little further east there is still some up in the mountains. Farther east, they probably still have a foot or so!!

Ok I thought I'd post this while I can before any down time here happens(I may be doing a cpu heatsink swap today on this LGA775 PC, Not the one pictured below though), I just took the old P5K Deluxe motherboard(I have 2 of these) and I/O Shield out installed the New Shield and the Asus P7P55D Pro Motherboard and the cables just plugged right in with no problems, Sweat. :)

Now for the long haul to December for the 750 cpu and January for the G.Skill ram(G.Skull? ;) ), As a pair of rare dual board GTX295 cards comes next(well they may as well be rare, I can't find any new GTX295 cards of any type(May and November on My schedule), Anywhere and forget about the new cards, their DX11 and I've read one can't mix them with DX10 Cards. :(
