The mysql replica did finally catch up on its own without any intervention on our part. I like when that happens. Likewise, the science secondary database is chipping away at its backlog - still may be a few days away from being completely caught up and functional. There's been a programming push lately. Jeff and Eric and working hard on the RFI code, and Eric and I have been working on getting a new fake data generator rolling for more robust testing purposes. The NTPCkr development/testing/employment progresses at a slow pace - a lot is waiting on the current state of our science databases. Outside of getting the secondary operational, there are other major improvements we hope to make to speed things up. The weather has been wacky, severe, and continuous. I like it, but still keep your fingers crossed we don't get a power outage. - Matt -- BOINC/SETI@home network/web/science/development person -- "Any idiot can have a good idea. The weather has been wacky, severe, and continuous. I like it, but still keep your fingers crossed we don't get a power outage. Thanks for the update, and I'll second the California weather being a bit wild. Although I don't think you had a tornado as we did down south. |

Take it this is the reason the update response is so very slow???? My backlog of "pendings" grows by the day. Do appreciate the update. Thanks! ront |

Thanks again for the update, Matt.... As I have said before, it must seem very mundane to you, but is very interesting to us out here. Just don't send any results from that 'fake data generator' to us, eh? "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Thanks again for the update, Matt.... But why not?? You might get some of them elusive "1 million credits for 10 seconds of work" workunits...:-) Clk2HlpSetiCty:::PayIt4ward |

Thanks again for the update, Matt.... Yeah, Just what We need, Outsiders claiming Seti is making Fake data, I know It's most likely for comparison purposes, But still some people like to jump all over the word Fake, Not a good idea Matt, Ditch the word Fake, Use something else...
