Good Morning all! I've got to find the last of Her hairs to get rid of Her ghost, ;) Actually It's probably just a bad cable as I had no signal on two monitors, So when I get the other PC running on the new motherboard with the 295 in It I'll test out My theory then, No rush, If It's a cable, trash the cable as I have a few and I would most likely sell the kvm as I really don't need all that concentrated heat as It hurts overclocks I've found, Besides with My wireless internet setup I can put a PC on the other side of the room and since I have 3 monitors It's not a big deal. Luke has been posting like a one armed paper hanger lately......... I feel slightly better. Thanks. Still typing with one hand, which is pretty fast now. Capitalizing via shift is still an annoyance. The right shift key on my keyboard hasn't seen so much use in years. - Luke. |

'May your heart always be joyful, and may your songs always be sung. And, may you stay............forever young. OMG.....Dylan was such a wordsmith. When i broke my arm many years ago i found it hard to button my panta or shirt. Plus i had a stick shift too at the time. The only bone I ever broke in my body was my right wrist when I trashed the Buick GS400 doing about 8000rpm. It was a guy drag racing thingy....too much testosterone and octane. The flywheel shattered, the pieces came flying though the engine tunnel and took my right knee out, and the Hurst T shift handle came hard left when the bell housing broke, shattering my right wrist.......one piece left the floor and exited through the roof. I was lucky.......it all healed, and even 30 years later, nothing gives me more grief than my mind....LOL. Damn, I still miss that car. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." The only other car I really miss was the '67 Pontiac Lemans.. Two door drag race leftover........ Couple of frame rails and a motor.....the rest was stripped out. Literally......... What was left had more snot than a coke addict. About 550 cid tied to a couple of rails. Motor mounts? It was welded to the chassis. Should never have been on the street. Was nothing street-legal about it. But, the cops really had balls back then. Not like the street-scared chicken-s**ts that some of them have become since. Not that it's all their fault, what with all the drug-crazed a**holes on the streets these days. Actually had to take it to the police department one time, muffler infraction. The cop looked at me and said something to the effect of......'You expect me to clear the ten day on the muffler, eh?........I could write you 20 more......' He looked the other way that day. And about 3 weeks later, I almost outran the dudes in that car.......140 in a 35 mph zone.....oops. They got their due. I was such a putz back then....... But......I still miss that car. Sorry to hear that...... But, you know now that I am not BSing about the amount of energy stored in about 15 pounds of steel rotating at about 8000 rpm...... I thought that some would think I was lying. RIP for your friend. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

It happend in our drive way. My brother in law was drive stock car and my dads freind was doing something while my brother in law was revving the car. He died right there. Ive seen some strange stuff happen to cars and truckss. I saw a ladfy at a stop light, here front tire just flopped on the road. Her ball joint broke. Now can you imageing if she was doing 50 mph and that happend. I allso saw a drive shaft on a pickup truck come off. Again this guy was at the same stop light. he had just started driving when WAM i saw that sucker fly out from under that truck. Hell Ive had 4 out of 5 lug nuts come loose on a wheel, and the last one was wobbly. [/quote] Old James |

I have far exceeded the 'lying to improve my status' stage. On Seti, there is no lying......the stats tell all. "You got a Hemi in that thing?......" No street BS here.....you either got the numbers or you don't. The '67? Not a dream..... The cops sold it at auction while I was in jail after impounding it for 'excessive speed', 'attempting to elude', 'owi', 'no valid license', 'invalid tags', 'not street legal equipemnt', 'no windshield wipers'(who needed wipers on the strip???)', 'loud exhaust', 'no hood ornament', 'not your daddy's oldsmobile', 'failure to wink to an officer'.....how could I wink when they keelhauled me outta the window by my neck and broke my nose on the pavement? The abuse charge was later tossed in court because I had 'attempted to evade capture'.....LOL. The list was rather long... I think it took the bailiff ten minutes to read it all in court. LOL I can only hope the Judge had a sense of humor. Ahh.......he didn't. Probably before your time, but the song Thirty Days in the Hole... It was not pretty, and the officers I outran made it their objective to make it as miserable as they could........ Gawd, that was sooooooooo long ago... "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting."
