My 2002 Jeep will break 200,000 mi. or 321,868.8 km this week. Probably tomorrow. I am at 199,987. Oh and I put it into a ditch early on. Just dug it out and kept going. Actually I think You drive a lot more than Me, As I didn't put all that mileage on the car(I bought the car used with around 65,000 miles back in 2007 when gas hit $4 a gallon), But then I usually drive about 250 miles a month, Of course 3 times a year It will become 340 miles a month. Of course I use K&N filters(air and oil) and Royal Purple 5w30 engine oil, About the only place I have a problem is when driving on a place like the Cajon pass, But then about 140hp only goes so far, Front wheel drive or not. I bought the jeep new and had a high output engine put in. I think it has 380 hp. All of it right near 3,000 rpm. Unlike the Ferrari. It's power does not start until 4,000 and really comes on at 7,000. I also pamper it. Always use Mobile 1 full synthetic and periodically treat everything with Zmax (linkite.) I can set my cruise control to 75 and it will stick there regardless of grade. |

Well the oil I use is a synthetic oil also, I also set the cruise control to about 75 and lets the CD Changer play on and on(It's not the stock one, sold dat long ago, Mine plays MP3 CDs as well as the normal ones, The head unit has a cassette player too, But It never gets used, But no one else knows that as they can't see the Alpine 6 CD changer), Although If one travels on the I15 freeway from Victorville to Las Vegas, I'd be careful as the CHP usually is parked in the dirt at Ft Irwin road(northbound side) waiting to pounce on any unwary speeders and I think they have some sort of Radar. But since I'm a local, I'm on to them. :D ![]() The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's ![]() |

Cool changer. I have the stock one. It holds 10 discs but no Mp3's. The control unit holds one more cd, plus a cassette and I added both a stat receiver and usb port for mp3's. But most of the time when I am driving I listen to NPR. Oh and around here 75 is normal. You don't get stopped unless your doing over 80. With one exception. Pacific Coast Highway passes thur Vandenberg Air Force Base. The security police will ticket you at 60. Their speed limit is 55 and a ticket on base is a federal issue. Pain in the patuty |

Pain in the patuty Thanks Carlos, the changer had to have an adapter cable hooked up in between the stock changer cable and the Alpine unit, The head unit is the stock FORD am/fm/cass player and It has no CD capability on It's own, But then thats why the changer is elsewhere in the car. No one looks twice at the cars stereo here and I always find fingerprints on My car around the door, So It's a good thing I don't leave anything in the car at least.
