Just don't quite understand the price I pay each day to be here.

And I understand that it's my choice.

But I really don't think you know.

How my life revolves around how the crunchers are doing.......if one of them goes down........what the temps in the house are.....is the fan in the garage running or not......should I open the window in the bathroom to let the cooler air in? Are the kitties comfortable?

Squirrel is meowing at me right now.....time for kitty dinner. Can I break away? Are the Cuda's allright?
What's the cache? Check the Killawatts.......
Too much fur in the CPU coolers? Clean the litterboxes?
Time to go to work......again.

Have I been banished for telling the truth?
WTF????? Oh Noooooooooooooooooo.

Now maybe you have a little picture of what goes on within me. Manic depressive is not OK.......I got one rig now that is not running at it's peak performance, and it's driving me crazy....

All this and time to love the kitties too........

Now maybe you know why I have such a big heart and cry such big tears.

You need therapy.

I was engaging in that when the door got busted in...........

Do I know you?

Or is there some special reason that you think you know what I need?

i need a psychologist; i don't need any one to tell me that...

oh the temps, opening the window has helped me, my temps for gpu were 63C with gpugrid running, opened window, 52 F out side, and when i woke up i though their was something wrong with my gpu, it was at 55C. Oh, how i love a cold snap. but not too cold please weather!

52 F air will cool a 80F room down in no time.

I recommend Secunia PSI: http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal/
Go Georgia Tech.

i dont think this thread is appropriate for the number crunching section of this forum.
i know me and you have gotten into it through pm's today, but no offense, but if you have a problem with someone, or no one, take it up in pm that that person, or a moderator . that way we can keep politics, personal vendettas etc in private where they belong. or atleast in the cafe seti section, if it's political in nature, throw the thread in the politics section where it woudl belong. at the very least. this forum is for discussion of number crunching, not for talk of banishing, cats, crying episodes, or personal drama.

like i said im not trying to insult or belittle you. i know you have quite an impressive farm of crunchers and i tip my hat to you for that. but number crunching section of the seti forum is for just that, number crunching. not drama.

once again, not trying to launch an attack. im just giving you an honest view from an outsider looking in.

actually ive got an idea, going to send you a pm about it so as to not farther progress this thread into something non related to number crunching.

I have sent you a PM apologizing for my unrelenting way of seeing things........
Those who have been around here a while know that I can get quite passionately opinionated about things....to a fault. MY fault. Not yours.

If we don't see eye to eye......so be it. Although I have made a lot of contributions to this project in one way or another.....so may you. I am not the boss.....

The kitties extend a paw of friendship if you will accept it.

Meow.

For what it's worth, I just about never post on these forums.. but I do frequent them often. Msattler is probably one of my favourite posters.. in fact, may be tied for first :p

If people are getting you down mate, just remember, there are always people out there who do appreciate the things you do, for both the project, and the community.

Keep it up.

I will do so..........

My sorrows in life are not the things I should be talking about here.

Fodder for another post, I guess.

If some wonder what makes me click........I suppose I could tell you.

But it might be a long..........conversation.

Be sure you are up for it if you inquire. It might be a long one indeed........................meow. I am not sure that you are up to the task.
