Only the best..... It only sounds right, if Dylan sings it.....I think it was from the album (big black CD thing) called Planet Waves. Yes, I do have the album, but its 200 miles away! Don't take life too seriously, as you'll never come out of it alive! |

Great girl. I heard her in 1968 in Milano, I still remember the thundershower which ended her concert. Tullio |

Yes it is on Planet Waves. I still have my big black CD thing copy too, bought in California right after it came out. |

The stories of the 3 Fires in Southern California(Rancho Palos Verdes and two over in the mountains in LA and SB counties). 500 homes yesterday were evacuated in Rancho Palos Verdes and today 1000 customers are without any electric service. I'm listening to this on KCBS 2 TV out of Los Angeles CA. Savoir-Faire is everywhere! The T1 Trust, T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, America's First HST |

Only the best..... There are probably some other covers that would not do justice to the song, but I always loved Joan's beautiful voice. Almost anything she does is grand by me.... Another example....and appropriately enough, another Dylan tune (not surprising, you do know they were lovers back then). With God on Our Side... Brazil, with the one and only Ethyl Smith on the mighty Hammond B3. I'm definitely dancing now! |

Brazil, with the one and only Ethyl Smith on the mighty Hammond B3. I'm definitely dancing now! A link? Why are you folks not linking to 'what you are listening to'? Unless you are like me and have an extensive collection of those 'big black thingys that spin around like tops....' Meow. The B3 was a mighty organ........ One of my first memories of a live band centered around a black haired chicky whacking a B something or other...... She smiled at me, and I melted. And then I heard and watched the horn in the organ start whizzing around......the phase shifting that came out of it was implanted in my brain forever. The live version of Old Fashioned Love Song made liberal use of the Hammond........ Not sure it survives the transcription from reality to Youtube. But if you were there....
