I'd like to run CUDA task, but not CPU tasks. These are the settings I've used: Run only the selected applications SETI@home Enhanced: yes Astropulse: yes Astropulse v5: yes If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications? no Use Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) if available yes Use Central Processing Unit (CPU) no As you can see I've selected 'No' to CPU work, but I still receive CPU tasks.. What should the settings be to only receive CUDA work? |

AstroPulse has no CUDA application yet. Turn those off and you should stop receiving AP workunits to be done on your CPU. |

Ok, I'll turn those off, but I'm received 'Enhanced' CPU work with these settings, not Astropulse work.. |

So, get the Unified Installer and choose the correct application, meaning only the GPU app, none of the others. It'll overwrite your present app_info.xml with the new one, while giving you only the CUDA app. |

Ok, I'll turn those off, but I'm received 'Enhanced' CPU work with these settings, not Astropulse work.. That's strange. The only way that'll happen is if you're using optimized applications and you have CPU apps specified in your app_info.xml file. Are you using optimized apps? If so, follow the suggestion made by Jord and you should stop receiving CPU tasks. |
