The things that are developed there are not new technology, but new and novel applications of the existing technology.

For example, the stealth bomber's low radar return is accomplished by simply reflecting the EM away from the radar transmitter, and in some cases absorbing it, so that it looks to the radar receiver to be a small bird.

We have known how to reflect and absorb EM for almost a hundred years, so the technology is not new, just the specific application of it.

So do not look for anti-gravity aircraft that fly without wings, jet thrusters, rotors, or balloons.

Science and technology can be indistinguishable from magic when the technology is not understood. I recall a short sci-fi story called "The Wall Around the World" in which technology was banned and magic was the norm. People flew around on broomsticks, however the broomsticks could not fly high enough to get over the wall around the world. It turns out that the broomsticks *were technology*, and they all had a "limiter" built in to prevent them from flying as high as the top of the wall.

You forgot to add light. They have some flying around this area that are powered by the expansion of atmospheric gas resulting from ground based high energy laser pluses. I think they have a proto type out there too.

That is still a jet thruster, right? It just gets its energy from the lasers rather than from combustion. Still not new tech, just novel application of old tech.

The usual quote is: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."

Radars are built to ignore small birds. Now we have to build them to detect really fast small birds...

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.
Me I think scram jet propulsion and maybe anti gravity. I saw something here in NY one winter a few years ago that was big slow and silent. It had 3 white running lights so It wasnt a ufo , Out line thru my binoculars against the background of stars was like a wedge. like that wedge that has been seen down in Phoenix AZ.
Our Government has 1500 dollar hammers for a reason. Thats an appropriate line for this 4th of july weekend:)

James, just FYI, those "Phoenix Lights" are actually flares dropped by the military within the Goldwater Bombing Range; I happened to be there one year, and just by coincidence, a friend of mine happened to be camping out up here in Prescott in an area where they were able to be seen, and we both saw them (me, "up-close and personal" - at the Range as an observer) and him here about 115 miles NNW and at about 6100' elevation.
He didn't know I was down there at that time and called me to say he saw the "UFO's", and I had him describe them to me and had to let him down when I told him what they really were.

SHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhh!! You'll ruin the whole mystic about the place. To think though I live here in Houston area and I've never been. Oye. I would like to go to that festival they have in Roswell though.

Gee Misfit, I played the D&D Implanter Scenario Campaign some decades ago. I didn't know the Player's Handbook for it was online.

D&D or not there are things underground out there. Living next to an AF base we get tid bits everyone and then. I was going over plans to some houses I was building with my archtect at the time. While there I saw some plans for an underground facility that he was working on. They were not classified. Just pilot barracks, designed to go underground at area 51.

UFO Hunters had different drawings for the underground Dulce base. Let's all go there on Halloween night and ask if we can tour Nightmare Hall. And I want an accurate head count of all those greys. Maybe even some autographs.

Are you sure that the Greys even have heads to count?

Nah, Aliens ain't the best for that...what you need to bring the tourists in is one of these...
