It`s Midtsummer – and the IV Coconut Thread is hereby brought to Life - ;-) During these last months, the bad economic of the World has been in focus. It has been, and will still be a very hard time for many people. Less income is a fact for most of us, and many will have a difficult time being able to “hold on to†all we have had in the past.. We may loose some.. and we have to live with it. The question is; How much do we need to be happy?? I read this quote somewhere; “ To be happy at home – is the ultimate result of all ambitions.†;-) Isnt That a thought! Why do we work so hard? To be happy at home. But many people are never at home, because working so much. And we think we need so much Things at home – And if not using it there, we may have it when going away, just to feel how wonderful it actually IS to come back home.. ;-) So the next question is; Where/what is home? Its said that Where your heart is – is your home. Its where you honestly want to be. I am one of those very lucky people who know that I want to be Right where I am. - Both in geography and in my own self. But many do not know this.. So instead of consentrate the energy on what IS important, they look for the important – Still with this wisdom deep inside; - To be happy at home – is the ultimate result of all ambitions....................... That`s what we`re all looking for. When having just enough money to have what we need – instead of all that we “want†– we can - instead of buying presents to others – give them...; The gift of Total awareness, The gift of enthusiasm, The gift of tenderness, The gift of beauty, The gift of communication, The gift of surprise, The gift of wondering, The gift of peaceful surroundings, ...the gift of joy.. ;-) All this doesnt cost any money – but its to share of yourself, your time and your life. During these difficult times – share what you have in yourself.. as often as possible. Maybe That is what makes the difference that tells if we will manage or not.. To be happy at home. ;-) Welcome to the Coconut-Corner! You are welcome to give what you may want to share.. or to receive.. Remember; It wouldnt be Love to Give, if it wasnt Love to Receive. ;-) .. and of course – just like in the other Coconut-threads - here is room for both the serious and the fun stuff.. Its all a part of our everyday. ;-) |

Thank you Princess, for your thoughts, the wisdom contained there in and the open ear willing to receive all that which we collectively and individually need to release. Be it sacred or profane, sorrowful or joyful, playful or divine. Thank you for being you. |

Hi Carlos, James, AriZona. @AriZona Steven - I have the feeling that you should write a I am afraid that my writings have been rather few and far between. Once I wrote a short story and then found that a famous Science-Fiction author had written a very similar story some years before. Oh well... |

;-) .. we had some barberque, and burned the fire. It was not as big as I first thought, as there were no more time to drag more rubbish on it. lol. My youngest son helped out to make the fire, whilst my oldest son helped me with the painting.. All together a very good day. ;-) Since its after all a Viking-tradition to burn these fires on this date.. I will follow James challenge, and post some pics. ;-) First pic shows the fire when it was at the warmest. You can see that the air around is very hot.. Here its burned down a bit - and seen from another angel. Zoomed in - This is how fire look like.. ;-)) Beautiful and dangerous... |

I love bonfires and that looks like a really good one. But Miss Moon, I don't believe all this nonsense about "summer". There were 60cm of snow in Oberstdorf yesterday as well as lots and lots of rain in southern Germany! |
