I have seen some cases where I am 70 times slower than my wingman. The above line is Result ID, WU, My computer #, wingman #, my cpu sec, wingman cpu sec, and then granted credit. The WU is no longer available for viewing because seti trims them so quickly.

I just wonder how I can take so long compared to another computer. Does CUDA get the same CPU timing measurement as main CPU timing?

I have not been running seti much lately, so I am a bit out of touch with current developments.

70 times? How about 153 times faster?

while the unit is still there, otherwise the results are in format
Result ID, WU, (italic) My computer #, (bold) wingman #, (italic) my cpu sec, (bold) wingman cpu sec, and then granted credit

I think my Athlon 2500+ is retiring, even though it's running optimized application. Of course, the wingman has CUDA.

What you are seeing is the time that CUDA used the CPU, it does not show that it probably took 30+ or more minutes on the video card.

I'm guessing that you have seen my page as you were asking about the optimized AP app.

http://www.arkayn.us/seti/index.htm

You can also install the optimized apps on the your other 2 Intel machines. Mac Mini's?

Michael37 your time is close to my old p4 in seconds which i can assume, that is about 6.5 hours of crunch time? But im not running an opt app.

I am not surprised. This CPU is about 6 years old.
