I am currently running Boinc 6.2.19 and Raistmer_s_opt_package_V6 with optimized S@H and AP clients for the CPUs. It is working really well for me, thank you very much. I would like to start using Boinc 6.4.20. Does anyone know the setup to specify using the optimized clients for the CPUs? Can I just put in the app_info.xml and clients that I use on the machines with no GPU? Does 6.4.20 completely abort all the currently runing WUs like the previous version? I would really, really like to avoid that! |

you can update your boinc to 6.6.20 and then you need to update raistmers app to v.10 that should get you what you want done In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

6.4.20? do you mean 6.6.20? If so no it will not abort the VLAR WU's automatically. However you are running one of raistmers apps. I suggest you go back to the Lunatics site and pick up the version 10 as stated before. 3rd party apps on seti require you to actually keep up with it. This is not our nor S@H's responsibility. Clearly you were able to find the version 6 app and its just as simple to find the version 10. I even bumped the thread on Number crunching for the Cuda users to continue to use it In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |
