The optimization on your Xeon rig isn't working. An AP WU is taking 220,000 CPU seconds to complete and should only take about 50,000 seconds. And on one of your Q6600 Quad Core rigs, it seems so as well. It also looks as if it is being under-utilized. Maybe try upgrading your BOINC version to 6.6.20 and using Raistmer's mods since you have Cuda as well. ![]() |

Quad Core E5410 2.33mhz 12mb cache x 2 Seti SSSE4.1 Optimized I took a somewhat closer look at some of the results on this Xeon, and I have to agree with Bad Actor: it looks like you're running stock applications on those machines, not optimized. Maybe something went wrong during installation of the optimized versions or you deleted them accidentally and Boinc downloaded the stock applications. When you reinstall optimized applications on the Xeon, you have a choice for multibeam between sse3x and ssse4.1; in theory the sse3x version should be slightly faster than the 4.1 on a Xeon, it is a version specially developed for Xeons (hence the x in its name). Regards, John. |

I have all this power Hi, like Bad Actor said, your XEON and a Q6600 is not using an optimized application for Multi Beam (MB) or ASTROPULSE (AP). I'de go with his recommendation and install optimized app.'s and CUDA package. [ADDED]Use Raistmers Package, for optimal crunching. Keep On Crunching. ![]() |

Is there astropulse + regular seti optimized for sse4.1 Thank you |

Is there astropulse + regular seti optimized for sse4.1 By "regular" SETI do you mean SETI Enhanced, as in non-CUDA? If so, yes. What OS are you using, and is it 32bit or 64bit? |

Is there astropulse + regular seti optimized for sse4.1 Arkayn Combined Packages has them set up with an AP SSE3 and AK SSE4.1 32 and 64 bit, (though ATM it doesn't seem to be working), already spliced together. |

Is there astropulse + regular seti optimized for sse4.1 I have my own repository of apps located on my server using standard .ZIP files. |

Is there astropulse + regular seti optimized for sse4.1 Very nice, thanks. I'll make a note of it in my favs. |

Is there astropulse + regular seti optimized for sse4.1 Note that my team mods are not interim AP apps; they only support AP v5 apps and not the original AP. Also note that my included app_info.xml files support SETI v5.28 and v6.03. |

Seems like my Xeon is been running the optimized combo pack for a while now. Lets try a newer boinc now. Thanks |

Seems like my Xeon is been running the optimized combo pack for a while now. Lets try a newer boinc now. I beg to differ: your Xeon's returned results are all showing stock app. You are not running the optimized combo pack at all on that machine. |

Seems like my Xeon is been running the optimized combo pack for a while now. Lets try a newer boinc now. Actually it looks like he was running optimized up to 29th of March and then he must have reset the project or something as it switched to stock apps after that. ![]() |

Seems like my Xeon is been running the optimized combo pack for a while now. Lets try a newer boinc now. You're right. I only checked the most recent returned results as that usually verifies if it is currently working. |

The output says it detected 3 GPU's and 2nd GPU was the one selected to do the work unit. That means the other 2 are busy. Bob ![]() Do you Good Search for Seti@Home? http://www.goodsearch.com/?charityid=888957 Or Good Shop? http://www.goodshop.com/?charityid=888957 |
