My two kitties live in harmony with my four dogs. They get along better, than the the three humans here. With Mark's ok, pics where posted here a few month ago for all six of them.

They may not be related by blood or ancestry, but the love and care is there. That is all that matters.

I love all forms of life.(Well maybe not snails, but I give them a break too:)

Well sometimes this human likes to eat them....yummy... The kitties seem to think, I should eat earth worms....They supply me with plenty. The dogs well, give them a buisquit{?} at the end of the day and they don't care.

Tech Toys for your pets

Want to know what your pets really think about you? Well, I don't, but apparently some people do. Japan-based Takara Tomy has come out with two electric consoles, the Meowlingual and the Bowlingual (for cats and dogs, respectively), that translate all of your pet's deepest thoughts and feelings. Each device's technology slots a meow or bark into one of six standardized emotion categories (the categories differ between species) and then announces a humorous phrase to represent that emotion. For example, if your cat lets out a meow while you're lovingly petting it, Meowlingual will announce "I can’t stand it!" And all that time, you thought it liked being scratched behind the ears.

An English version of Bowlingual released in the United States with limited success, but Meowlingual never made it over. Unless your cat speaks Japanese (and you understand it), you probably won't want to fork out $75 plus overseas shipping for the device.

My lil' darlings are strictly indoor kitties too, and haven't been to the vet since they were kittens.

The two cats we had when I was a teenager were both indor/outdoor cats. Usually it was their choice which side of the door they were on. Note: They had their claws.

I'm under 40, and I saw the bespectacled kitty as John Lennon :P

And the robotic thing doesn't look remotely life-like.

The six we have are all well. Loki continues to alternate between being the most mischievous and the most snuggly, while Keegan's confidence continues to increase in leaps and bounds - he's demanding to be petted a lot more, and he's a lot more aggressive when it comes to trying to be first to get the canned food!
