Hello,

I've jsut tried to install BOINC 6.4.7 over Boinc 5.8.15, as I have done in the past with upgrades.

However, now I am being asked for the BOINC.msi, which should be in the download installation files, but is not the correct version. I did a search, but was still unable to get the correct version anywhere. Since trying to do the install, Boinc manager is no longer in the Boinc folder, so I can not run Boinc, I can't uninstall the old version either without the missing msi.

Win2k sp4, 1Gb

Any thoughts?

Many thanks in advance

See here

I found that thread by doing an Advanced search (top left corner of this page) for boinc.msi over 6 months.
