What happened to 6.4.6? now .5 is listed at the current version? |

The new 6.4.6 never propagated to the Download page, people continued to download the corrupted version, so it was withdrawn. The developer will build a 6.4.7 and release that one instead. As to when that is, I don't know. The links in my post still work, though. |

I have a working 6.4.6 version installed and the .exe install file on my system. Is there a problem with continuing to run this version? |

I have a working 6.4.6 version installed and the .exe install file on my system. Is there a problem with continuing to run this version? No, you can keep using it if no error were displayed during the install. The problem was that a copy with a corrupted installer was distributed to the mirror site, so some people could not download a good copy that would install. |

i downloaded version 6.4.6 on three different machines, but all are Vista x64 and it works. The 6.4.6 seems to be crunching slower on cuda but faster on astropulse. |

i downloaded version 6.4.6 on three different machines, but all are Vista x64 and it works. BOINC does not do any of the actual crunching, it is a control application. It controls which tasks run when, and when to download more, and ... ![]() ![]() BOINC WIKI |
