- on the South Side below Sunset Blvd for over 25 years [many a script drafted there]

btw - that's the Location where my [Armenian] Musician / Artist Friend - Robert Kazaryan has his Security Company for Gower Gulch & Studios . . .

and, right East - down on Sunset - a couple of blocks is the Zankou Chicken i mentioned a lot in these Forums as well [another YUM!!!] ;)

I've been in that one, but not this morning. The one in Pasadena. [As you know getting from anywhere to Hollyweird is a PITA.] We also have a Zankou Chicken in Pasadena. Yum.

Seems strange to me right now. For the last several years I worked for a company, now belly up, that duped all the shows for the Emmy judges. Now would have been our super busy time. That's one huge pile of masters all with different counts for each category. All of course has to be finished and out between the announcement of the Noms and in time for the votes to get back and be tabulated.

You wouldn't believe some of the things I saw. Huge studios that couldn't send a useable master. Others that sent stuff that looked like a stoned kid in a garage did the transfer. Some even left commercials in the show. And this to go out to be judged. Amazing.

;))) know exactly what you mean - 'basically' seen it all [the horrors ;)]

plus some of the worst edits ever that were 'For Your Consideration' no less DOH!!!

< got a lady friend a job w/ Price-Waterhouse ["the envelope please"] - back in the day - and have ever since wondered how

certain people remained in business back then . . . lol!

ps - whenever i get back in town - i'll invite you to the 'custom' shawarma beef that my friends make there on Sunset [cardiaKK time :)))]

well - keep care this Sunday - everybody have a Happy Father's Day as well . . .

Thanks, I've never eaten Okra, but have been curious due to its shape and seeds. i havent seen it here at the supermarket.
